I'm assuming you mean the live-action Aang from The Last Airbender. That film was so bad they literally refused to make a sequel. Even Norm of the North had sequels!

No, I'm talking about the animated character. Throughout my childhood, I was punished for being selfish. I was punished for being irresponsible. I was even punished for refusing to grow up. I was NEVER allowed to make amends for them because my family sees that as faking remorse. And seeing someone make even more selfish and irresponsible choices that caused countless deaths and getting pardoned for it, I think it sends a bad message to kids.
