Alpha Trion is one of the 14 overarching protagonists (alongside Primus and the Thirteen Primes) of the 2024 animated film, Transformers One. He is the last surviving member of the Thirteen Primes, who exposes the truth of their demise to Orion Pax, D-16, Elita-1 and B-127.
He then gives them the T-Cogs of the fallen Primes so they can help expose Sentinel Prime's crimes and liberate Cybertron from his tyranny, before sacrificing himself to hold off Sentinel's forces so they could escape and reveal to Cybertron the truth of Sentinel's crimes.
He was voiced by Laurence Fishburne. In Japanese dub of the film, he was voiced by Tesshō Genda, who also voiced the Generation One counterpart of Optimus Prime.
What makes him Pure Good?[]
- Many recordings Orion found were told by Alpha Trion about Matrix Of Leadership.
- He was one of the Primes who fought alongside his comrades to defend Cybertron from threats, especially Quintessons.
- When he and his fellow Primes were failing to take down Quintessons in the cave, he sended a distress signal to Iacon in hopes someone will receive it, which was found by Orion Pax, D-16, Elita-1 and B-127.
- After Orion Pax reactivated him with the help of B-127, he explained to them, alongside D-16 and Elita-1, that they had their transformation cogs taken away by Sentinel before they were born so they could work for him, making them realize Sentinel is a traitor and not a real Prime.
- He further reveals it by showing them that Sentinel is using their Energon to Quintessons so he could stay as a king in action.
- He gave the main four the T-Cogs from his deceased Primes in order to help them expose Sentinel of his crimes, along giving Orion Pax the recording of Sentinel giving Energon to Quintessons.
- While he witnessed D-16’s violent tendencies, he showed concern of D-16's revenge and believed in D-16's potential for growth and redemption. Alpha Trion often emphasizes the importance of choice and the ability to change one's path. He likely saw an opportunity to guide D-16 towards a more positive use of his abilities, trusting that with the right support, D-16 could harness his powers for good rather than destruction.
- When Orion Pax said that they couldn't leave Alpha Trion be when Airachnid and Trackers discovered their hideout, the latter tells Orion that he will have his chance to fight as Primus had purpose for them all, and will make sure to keep Sentinel's Trackers away from them as long as he can as this will be his fight.
- He fought against The Trackers in his Qilin form until Airachnid ambushed him from above, leading to his defeat.
- After he was captured by Sentinel and before his death, he rightfully told the latter that he is a disgrace to Primus and that he will be defeated by the main heroes.
- Even after his death, he, Primus and other Primes resurrected Orion, now Optimus Prime, by rightfully giving him the Matrix Of Leadership due to how he has sacrificed his life to save Sentinel's life from D-16's wrath.
- He manages to stand out due to him having much less screentime, and being the one for helping the main heroes unlocking their transformation abilities and exposing Sentinel. If it wasn't for him, Orion Pax and D-16 would never find out about Sentinel's true nature.
