Apollo Justice is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Miles Edgeworth) of the Ace Attorney franchise.
He is the titular main protagonist of the Apollo Justice Trilogy, being the titular main protagonist of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, the deuteragonist of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, and one of the two main protagonists (alongside Phoenix Wright) of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice.
He is a defense attorney working for the Wright Anything Agency. He is notable for his involvement in a test trial for the Jurist System, an effort to reintegrate the jury into court proceedings, along with co-counsel Trucy Wright, Prosecutor Klavier Gavin, and mentor Phoenix Wright.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- He had a strong sense of empathy, helping Clay Terran cope with his mother's death despite not knowing him. This caused the two of them to become good friends.
- He turned against Kristoph Gavin after realising how evil the man was, despite knowing he would be unemployed by arresting his employer.
- He has a very strong moral code, being disgusted that Phoenix tricked him into presenting forged evidence, even punching him in anger for his corrupt action. This was despite the fact that the evidence helped him win the case.
- He proves Wocky Kitaki's innocence in court and exposes Alita Tiala as the true culprit, while also trying to help him get along with his father again after the trial.
- He proves Daryan Crescend's guilt over stealing a Borginian cocoon and for murdering Romein LeTouse, which prevented Machi Tobaye from getting the death penalty for taking part in the smuggling.
- He proves Phoenix's innocence with the diary page forgery, allowing him to become a defense attorney once again and with Klavier and the Juries, takes down Kristoph for all he's done.
- He helped Phoenix Wright become a lawyer again, forgiving him for his manipulative actions and helping to reform him.
- He defended Damian Tenma in court and exposed Florent L'Belle as the true culprit behind the murder of Rex Kyubi.
- He assisted Athena with proving Juniper Woods innocence in court and exposing Aristotle Means as the true culprit behind Constance Courte's murder.
- Even when turning against Athena, he genuinely wanted to find the truth of Clay's murder and held no malice against her, immediately apologising and assisting her when she was revealed to be innocent.
- After Trucy is incriminated for a murder by Roger Retinz and breaks down from the stress of being imprisoned, he decides to defend her in court and proves Rogers guilt alongside Athena.
- He is extremely empathetic to Armie Buff when she is left an orphan, offering his friendship to her to help her cope with her grief. He looks past her aggression to help her come out of her shell.
- He risks the chance of being executed by going against a corrupt monarchy and overthrowing the evil queen Ga'ran, successfully proving her to be a fraudulent queen and ends her reign of terror she inflicted on defense attorney's and Khura'in's citizens for 23 years alongside Phoenix.
- He is selfless, willing to do work nobody else wants to do because he knows someone has to do it.
- Apollo decides to stay in the kingdom of Khura'in and reform the country, despite the stressful workload he is given because he believes in justice and helping to make the world a better place.
