AL-1S, also known Aris Tendou is a major protagonist of the Blue Archive, a student at the Millennium Science School, and a member of the Game Development Club. She is also the main protagonist of the Clockwork Flower Pavane episode.
Originally, she was an Omnicidal or Genocidal android created by Nameless priests and a robot called "Princess". Her original purpose was to wipe out the current Kivotos, which was built on the spot where the nameless gods disappeared, using 'Atrahasis's Ark' and return to the nameless in its place. It was a weapon of mass destruction for the purpose of establishing a sanctum of priests.
She was voiced by Minami Tanaka.
What Make Her Pure Good?[]
- Although Aris was originally created as an Made of Evil to cause cataclysm, mass murder, genocide and destruction within Kivotos, Aris' dormant state and encounters with dear friends such as Sensei, the Saiba sisters, Yuzu, Yuuka, and Neru have led Aris to reject her original purpose as an Omnicidal Maniac in favor of becoming a world-saving warrior. This proves that Aris wants to be the Aris of the Game Development Department, not the AL-1S that will bring destruction to the world. Also, this proves she have clear moral agency.
- Along with the members of the Game Development Department, she worked hard to prevent the abolition of the Game Development Department, participated in the adventure to find the G.Bible, rejoiced when a game made by the Game Development Department won a special prize and the abolition of the Game Development Department was stopped, and played games with Sister Saiba and Yuzu.
- Although she was traumatized by the maid due to Neru's merciless attack, she had no resentment or revenge against Neru for mercilessly attacking her, and became friends playing games with Neru.
- Shocked by the fact that she unintentionally nearly killed Momoi when the killing program in her body activated, she chose to be taken away by AMAS robots sent by Rio. also, Knowing her good heart, Sensei, Game Development, Veritas, Engineers, Yuuka and Noah from Seminar, and Sumire and the Paranormal Task Force could not accept that Rio would destroy Aris.
- After being reconciled by Sensei and members of the game development department, she drew her railgun and disabled KEY, who was trying to awaken her as an omnicidal maniac.
- She apologized for turning her back on Key, now Kei, the being who tried to awaken her as Omnicidal Maniac, and redeemed Key by convincing her that she could be whoever she wanted to be.
- She forgives Rio for trying to destroy her and helps Rio overcome her self-loathing.
- She even prepared herself to be destroyed, boarded Utnapishtim's ship, and destroyed the stochastic stacking state of the multidimensional barrier created by Atrahasis' ark to save many students on board Utnapishtim's ship.
Trivia[]
- In the Bad Future timeline without Sensei's intervention, she would not have ended up in the Game Development Department and would have ended up as an Omnicidal A.I. However, Sensei's intervention changed the future and Aris became Pure Good. If the future had not been changed without Sensei's intervention, it is very likely that Aris would have become Pure Evil, as her moral agency is evident in the main timeline where the future was changed, as she is shown to be able to choose good on her own. n other words, originally Aris' fate was Pure Evil, not Pure Good, but Sensei changed the future, so Aris dreamed of becoming a hero to protect the world, which led Aris to become Pure Good.
