Asha is the main protagonist of Disney’s 62nd full-length animated feature film Wish, which serves as a milestone celebration for the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company.

She is a optimistic girl who lives in Rosas that went to ask a star from the sky to help guide her on stopping Magnifico after she realized his true nature of not wanting to grant anyone’s wishes, but instead have their memories erased.

She was voiced by Ariana DeBose.

What Makes Her Pure Good?[]

Took her father’s words that the stars are there to help guide them, inspire them, and to remind them about possibilities to heart.
Overall, she expresses a desire to help her people be able to have their own wishes be granted.
Welcomes people to Rosas and showed them places and things around there, including about the wishing ceremony.
Calls out King Magnifico and puts aside her initially self-centered motive of wanting to have her grandfather's wish granted when she finds that he only grants a select amount of everyone's wishes whilst hoarding them under himself with the false impression that they will all be granted someday.
She tried warning her mother and grandfather that Magnifico will spitefully not grant their wishes.
Went on a quest to stop King Magnifico and return all the wishes he hoarded back to their original owners. Doing so, she wished for a sapient star to help her retrieve her family’s wishes.
While she did lie to her friends, it was only to protect them. She told her friends the truth that she wished on a Star to help her stop the King.
Snuck into Rosas Castle to retrieve Sabino’s wish and return it to him.
She felt remorse for having caused her family and friends, as well as others, to be hurt by her carelessness while trying to stand up to Magnifico.
Felt concern about Simon when he was being painfully brainwashed by Magnifico while granting his wish despite his betrayal.
Sent a mouse who went to warn Queen Amaya about Magnifico’s evil plans and get her to stand up against him.
Rallied her friends while convincing them to take down Magnifico who was using dark magic to try to force the populace into eternal despair and bring the wishes back to their owners.
Pressured the people of Rosas to stop Magnifico from taking over the wishes and using Star as a living battery for his staff, which helped free everyone’s wishes, sealing Magnifico in his staff.
Forgave Simon for his betrayal, sympathizing with him on wanting to believe Magnifico’s trust.
