Ashley Campbell is one of the three secondary protagonists (along with Larry Johnson and Todd Morrison) of the 2016 video game Sally Face, who is also a playable character in Episodes 4 and 5 of the game.
One of Sal Fisher's old friends, Ashley was once a normal student in Nockfell High, until her life would soon be altered when she winds up uncovering the ancient supernatural cult known as the Devourers of God, as well as their plans, via her math teacher Mrs. Packerton. This led to her uncovering the cult's true intentions of sending the Red-Eyed Demon to Earth, as well as their hegemonic plans, which soon followed a turn of events that led to the organisation's destruction.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
- Ashley stands out amongst the characters in the game, not only for the non-corrupting, caring, and kind personality she possesses, such as when she did not show disgust to Sal's disfigured face, but also her will to stop the Devourers of God, who were responsible for Sal's false execution, and the Red-Eyed Demon, who is responsible for the deaths of 33% of the world's population.
- During the events of Episode 5, Ashley stands out amongst Larry and Sal, as she is largely responsible for spearheading the initiative to stop the Devourers' hegemonic plot after Sal's death, going so far in planting bombs within the underground temple that she received from Neil, as well as temporarily sacrificing herself after the three Asintmah fragments were retrieved, in order to allow Sal to be resurrected, as well as with Sal's soul being fused into her, which in return caused her to be risen from the dead.
- She stopped the remaining members of the Devourers of God inside the underground temple, as well as Kenneth Phelps, where she tries to slow him and his plans down, which soon allows Travis Phelps to kill his own father and sacrifice himself in the process, thus weakening the Void.
- She also stopped the Red-Eyed Demon (now in the form known as Endless), with the help of Sal and Larry. Her efforts saved the remaining billions of lives from the Devourers of God and the Red-Eyed Demon's terror.
- While Ashley killing the cultists is seen as a lethal moment, this is more of a justified and righteous killing, as the Devourers of God didn't just kill Sal, but also harmed other innocent people who were against their dogma. This was mostly done to prevent the Cult from furthering their goals of destroying Earth, which in turn stopping the cult and saving billions of lives in the process, which makes Ashley more of a righteous killer than a lethal hero.
