| ~ Ashley offers herself to Leon. |
Ashley Graham is the deuteragonist of the survival horror video game Resident Evil 4 remake. She is the President's daughter who has been held captive by a mysterious and sinister Spanish cult known as Los Iluminados, until she is retrieved by government agent Leon Kennedy.
she was voiced by Genevieve Buechner (English) and Akari Kitō (Japanese).
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
In General[]
- She is more helpful and reliable unlike her original counterpart, helping Leon escape from many dangers and there are some points in the game Leon would've not gotten through it if it wasn't for her.
- Additionally, she entertains the notion of partaking combat training not unlike Leon's own in case of facing another ordeal not unlike when against Los Iluminados some time after returning home only for Leon suggests knife lessons instead. Considering she finds herself improvising against Saddler's forces, it's understandable why she wanted to fare better like Leon next time around.
- While there are some scenes where she acted aggressive and hostile, it was due to the Plaga influencing her. She even tries her best to resist the infection.
- While there are some admirable characters in the Remake timeline such as Leon, Ada, and Jill, Ashley stands out due to her low resources, and playing a pivotal role in saving the world from Saddler, all while not being a trained fighter and not knowing how to use guns unlike Leon.
Resident Evil 4[]
- Agreed to follow the rescue plan and hide out until dawn and trusted Leon's guidance to ensure their survival.
- During the abattoir fight, she broke open a window, allowing Leon to escape from danger and saving his life.
- Even though Saddler temporarily took control of her through the Plaga in her system, she fought back internally, managing not to harm Leon despite the mental control.
- After being separated from Leon by Saddler's machinations, she took the initiative to hide, protecting herself and avoiding capture, which ultimately helped Kennedy rescue her later.
- Although terrified, she made her way through the Armadura lair without giving up.
- After navigating the lair, she managed to find and rescue Leon, helping him escape from his cage, playing an important role in saving his life.
- Despite being taken away by Salazar's Verdugo bodyguard and brought to the throne room for the ritual, she stayed as composed as possible, not giving in to panic.
- She resisted the ritual long enough, which gave Leon the opportunity to reach her in time, giving him a chance to save her from the black liquid ceremony.
- Even after being captured again by Krauser, she continued to stay hopeful, keeping herself alive long enough for Kennedy to track her down.
- After being rescued, she followed Leon through the fortress, eventually finding the lab.
- While under Saddler’s control, she subtly limp-wristed the gun she was holding, causing it to malfunction and saving Leon’s life.
- Saved Leon from a FWTD by removing the Plaga from his body, which led Leon to defeat Saddler and save the world.
- Implores Ada to help Leon as the latter's fight against Saddler escalates further with the latter unveiling an Uroboros Aheri-esque secondary mutation.
