Aya Asagiri is the protagonist of the manga Magical Girl Site and its anime adaptation. She is a girl who was bullied at school and beaten by her brother at home. One day she received a message from a site called the Magical Girl Site and would receive a magic stick from an administrator.

What Makes Her Pure Good?[]

  • Unlike most of the magical girls, she never used her magic stick for selfish reasons or vengeance.
  • While she did cause the death of Erika and Shota by using her sticks on them, this was an accident as she didn't know the effect of the stick. Furthermore, she only used it to defend herself as the two were literary trying to rape her.
  • When Sarina was about to hurt her for revenge for the death of Erika and Shota, Tsuyuno saved her by stopping time. Tsuyuno then wanted to kill Sarina, but Aya asked her not to, despite what Sarina did to her. (In the anime, Yatsamura choose to not kill her)
    • Later on, she told Tsuyuno the reason why she and Aya were enemies was because she never thanked her when Aya would defend her from bullies back and due to her shy, soft-spoken nature, claiming that if she had thanked her, perharps things like this wouldn't happen.
  • During her battle with Sarina who wanted vengeance against Aya and Tsuyuno, Aya did her best to protect Tsuyuno despite being afraid herself.
  • When Tsuyuno's apartment was about to collapse due to the battle, Aya used her stick to teleport Sarina away.
  • When she learns that Tsuyuno was about to die. Aya decided to take her to the beach with her friends to make her happy.
  • Although she didn't tell the others that Kaname had stolen Nijimi's stick and even killed someone with it, it was because she was afraid the others would have killed him. Kiyoharu (who read Aya's thought with her stick) understood her and decided to act herself without the others knowing. Furthermore, when the others learned it, many understood Aya's decision.
    • Aya feeling remorseful for that decision will decide to give her blood to heal Kiyoharu.
  • She saved her family from the administrator despite everything Kaname and her father did to her.
  • While she did take Kaname's life force so that any use of a stick would kill him, given that Kaname is dangerous and even killed Nijimi, it was a wise decision to be sure he won't be a threat, and at the end she gives his life back.
  • When it's possible, she tries to save the person inside the administrator with her stick. This includes Tsuyuno.
  • In order to prevent the king from destroying the planet in the new timeline, she stopped all bad events that happened to all magical girls, which would lead them to obtain a magic stick from happening.
  • She convinced Ichi to help her to reconstruct the Earth and to become its core.
