Balto is the titular main protagonist of the animated film trilogy of the same name. He is a wolf/husky hybrid from the town of Nome, Alaska.
He's also the husband/mate of Jenna and the father of Aleu, Kodi, Dingo and Saba and two unnamed siblings.
He was voiced by Kevin Bacon in the first film and Maurice LaMarche in the sequels. Balto is based on the real dog of the same name.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- Saved the life of 50 children (including Rosy) who came down with Diphtheria, by delivering antitoxin to Nome.
- He risked himself to defend Jenna, Boris, Mud and Luk from a giant grizzly bear and fights it.
- Helped his daughter Aleu to become the new leader of a Wolf pack, and find a new home for her.
- Rescued the dog sled team (except Steele who refused) and a man who were trapped in the snow.
- Refused to fight Steele, only wanting to get the medicine home.
- Rescued a pilot named Duke after his plane crashed.
