Bronya Rand is an antagonist-turned-major supporting playable character in 2023 science fantasy turn-based tactical role-playing video game Honkai: Star Rail. The heir of Cocolia Rand, the Supreme Guardian of Belobog as well as the commander of the Silvermane Guards, she initially opposed the Astral Express before realizing the truth about her mother and turning against her.

She was voiced by Xie Ying in Chinese, Kana Asumi in Japanese, Lee Bo-hee in Korean, and Madeline Reiter in English.

What Makes Her Pure Good?

• Protected Belobog from Antimatter Legion as the Commander of Silvermane Guards for many years.
• While she branded the Astral Express visitors as traitors, she only did this because Cocolia convinced her the outsiders mean the city harm.
• After getting stranded in the Underworld due to Sampo's intervention, she was horrified seeing the Underworld being isolated from the Overworld for so many years due to Cocolia's actions.
• Apologized to Seele after she berated her for letting the Underworld stagnate for so many years.
• Along with Seele, she distributed the medicines to Natasha's clinic, saving many Underworlders.
• When Svarog showed his recordings to reveal the truth about the Stellaron, Bronya realized Cocolia had fallen under its influence and was planning to destroy Belobog to herald a new civilization and turned against her.
• She tried to reason with Cocolia after returning to the Overworld to not destroy Jarilo-VI and to end the blockade against the Underworld, only to fail and be brainwashed instead.
• With the help of Seele and the Astral Express, she broke free from the brainwashing and rejected Cocolia and the Stellaron's offer to become the new herald of the new civilization they were planning to create.
• Helped the Astral Express defeat Cocolia after the Trailblazer returned to the Everwinter Hill empowered by the Preservation.
• Despite Cocolia being corrupted by the Stellaron into plotting the destruction of Belobog, she eventually came to forgive her and berated anyone else mocking her memory.
• She decided to hide the truth of Cocolia's treachery so that the people's trust on the office of Belobog would not be broken, even making Seele and the Astral Express promise not to tell anyone else.
• Opened up the Underworld after more than 10 years and prevented it from falling into ruin.
• She was willing to sign the repossession offer by Topaz in order for the IPC to forgive their debt accumulating over 700 years, only to stop because Himeko convinced her to not take a gamble regarding her planet's future.
• She opposed Topaz and convinced her to abandon her plans to annex Belobog after showing her the Engine of Creation, which is not an IPC creation.

• Bronya is currently the only Honkai: Star Rail heroine to be Pure Good.
• She is the sole Hoyoverse Pure Good to not belong to Genshin Impact.
