Callie is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Marie) of the Splatoon franchise serving as one of the two tritagonists (alongside Marie) of Splatoon, the brainwashed secondary antagonist of Splatoon 2, a cameo character in Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion and one of the three tritagonists (alongside Marie and Agent 3) of Splatoon 3's story mode, titled "Return of the Mammalians. She is one of the Squid Sisters, alongside her cousin Marie, and also moonlights as Agent 1 of the New Squidbeak Splatoon.

In the first Splatoon game, she served as a major character, hosting Inkopolis News alongside Marie, and playing a supporting role in the Hero Mode, guiding Agent 3 as Agent 1 after Cap'n Cuttlefish gets kidnapped by DJ Octavio. In Splatoon 2's Hero Mode, she is kidnapped and brainwashed by DJ Octavio, before eventually being freed by Marie. In Splatoon 3, she serves once again as a major character, appearing alongside Marie and the old Agent 3, who has now been promoted to the role of the Captain of the New Squidbeak Splatoon, and helps guide the New Agent 3 through Alterna.

She is voiced by Yuki Mizutani, also known by her stage name keity.pop

What Makes Her Pure Good?

• She and her co-star/cousin Marie help Agent 3 rescue the Great Zapfish and their grandfather Cap'n Cuttlefish from DJ Octavio
• She and Marie sing the Calamari Inkantation during 3's battle with Octavio, with its magical properties freeing many Octolings, such as Marina and Agent 8 (And New Agent 3 if they're an octoling), from his influence.
  • Had it not been for her and Marie singing the Calamari Inkantation, Commander Tartar would've been able to destroyed the world in the future, since Marina's the one responsible for exposing the weakness to the NILS Statue, the machine that Tartar used to try to destroy the world. Agent 8 was also the one responsible for weakening the NILS Statue to the point where its laser could be countered by Pearl.
• While she does join Octavio's side during Splatoon 2, this is mainly because she fell victim to his hypnoshades, not to mention that she rejoins Marie after they are removed. Even when she's on Octavio's side, she doesn't do anything bad and only helps Octavio with making music.
• She sings the Spicy Calamari Inkantation during Agent 4's battle against Octavio, possibly freeing even more Octolings in the process.
• She, Marie and Agent 3 help New Agent 3 rescue Cuttlefish from Mr. Grizz's grasp in Alterna.
• Even though Deep Cut are her enemies for the majority of Splatoon 3, she bears no ill will towards them, even saying that she "loves" them upon first meeting them. She was also ecstatic when they asked to work for Marie in order to make up for attacking them.
• She, Marie, and Deep Cut help New Agent 3 and Octavio defeat Mr. Grizz by singing the Calamari Inkantation 3MIX, with its paranormal aura transforming 3's Little Buddy into the Hugefry. This allows it to duel Grizz, providing a distraction so 3 and Octavio can defeat Grizz with the Ink Vac, saving the world from being covered in Fuzzy Ooze in the process.

Trivia

• Callie was originally considered to be Near Pure Good due to failing the franchise's Admirable Standards. However, after she played a major role in saving the world in Splatoon 3, she was eventually approved as Pure Good.
