Captain Amelia is the tritagonist of Disney's Treasure Planet franchise.
She is a cat-human hybrid hired by Dr. Delbert Doppler to serve as the captain of the RLS Legacy to find Treasure Planet and Flint's Trove.
She was voiced by Emma Thompson.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
- She compliments Mr. Arrow on a job well done during her introduction.
- She keeps Treasure Planet’s map secure due to distrusting the crew Doppler had hired.
- She advises Doppler to brace himself when the ship launches, and later advises him to stay away from an Orcus Galacticus.
- She saved the crew from falling into a black hole.
- While she did blame Jim Hawkins for Mr. Arrow’s death, there’s no indication she held any animosity towards him for it, especially considering she was more than willing to work with him during the mutiny.
- She orders for the pirates to be kept at bay.
- She asks Jim Hawkins for the map upon crash landing, indirectly inciting him to return to the RLS Legacy.
- She compliments Doppler's eyes, and later works with him and Jim Hawkins to save the crew.
- Even though she is very strict, it never really darkens her character and she is still taken light-headed.
