Just because another character is a villain does not always mean Pure Goods are enemies with them. A Pure Good hero can have a friend who is a villain. They will not support the villain's evil plans (unless they have not yet been Wholly Reformed) and are likely to be friends with Affably Evil, On & Off, or Redeemed villains. It is also possible that their friend could be brainwashed (though this may not always be the case if villains are in their normal senses and may refuse to side with Pure Good heroes if this happens).

Their Pure Evil counterparts are Evil Former Friends.
