Yeah, I'm a Sullivan! I'm the Sullivan who flunked every test! The one who got kicked out of the program! The one who's so afraid to let everyone down, that I cheated! And I lied!
~ Sulley’s speech to Mike, mentioning why he cheated at the Scare Games
Neuvillette: Vautrin... my friend. Is there anything else you want to say?
Vautrin: Neuvillette... What have
I done to deserve this? I've closely followed every one of your orders! Can't you see? Everyone in this room believes that I'm innocent... why can't you just let me off!? Is this what justice means to you? Answer me, Neuvillette!!
~ Vautrin pretending to be entitled over losing his trial to install Neuvillette as a fair head judge.

Pragmatists, are those who follow practical considerations above traditional morals, values or taboos. Pragmatic protagonists are heroes who are often opposite to Honorable heroes, though depending on character development, certain characters may be both at one point or another. A Pure Good hero operates with unwavering adherence to their moral principles, striving to uphold goodness and righteousness in all their actions. They prioritize honesty, integrity, and compassion, never resorting to lies, deceit, or manipulation. Even in the face of dire circumstances, a Pure Good hero maintains their ethical stance, finding alternative solutions that align with their values rather than compromising them. They inspire others through their selflessness and dedication to doing what is right, embodying the ideals of heroism without succumbing to moral compromise or "playing dirty.

  1. The action must not cross the Moral Event Horizon and there must be a purely good reason for what they have done.
  2. They must never play dirty.
