Scapegoats are Pure Goods who often end up in situations that are abusive, painful and upsetting. Some of these characters end up getting into difficult situations such as getting murdered and coming back to life. Because of the circumstances these heroes face, they are often portrayed sympathetically, if not also more admirable if they don't let their traumas and inner demons consume them.
