~ DJ to Daffy after catching Daffy stealing the Batmobile. |
Damien Drake Jr. or simply D.J. Drake is one of the two main protagonists (alongside Daffy Duck) of the 2003 live-action/animated film Looney Tunes: Back in Action.
He was portrayed by Brendan Fraser.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
In General[]
- Anytime he gets angry and fights back at unpleasant people, they are usually for a justified reason.
- Although he is aggressive and hostile towards Daffy when he was at his house and in his car, this is usually justified since Daffy constantly irritates him and is often a loudmouthed jerk.
- Although he stole Papa Bear's pants, he desperately needed some on since he was trying to save Kate who was kidnapped by Bob Smith and Papa Bear mocked him when his pants flew off, making it justified.
- While he punched his real life actor Brendan Fraser, it was pretty justified since he got him fired and mocked him for it.
Movie[]
- He tried to catch Daffy, who was causing chaos on the Warner Bros. studio lot and stopped him from stealing the Batmobile for the Batman movie, although Daffy started the Batmobile and caused it to crash into the water tower, destroying it.
- When he got home, he discovered his father, Damien Drake was kidnapped and told D.J. to find the Blue Monkey diamond and he immediately goes to Las Vegas where he was assigned to go save his father.
- He also asked if he should call the police when he saw that Damien was attacked by Mr. Chairman's henchmen.

- He fights off Nasty Canasta and Cottontail Smith.
- He retrieves the card that was the clue to the Blue Monkey diamond.
- He drives off in the spy car where Kate and Bugs were who were finding Daffy to get him his job back, although he was stealing it, he was only trying to get away from Yosemite Sam's crew.
- He quickly turns the car the other way to escape the dynamite Nasty Canasta tried to blow them up with.
- He asked if he and Kate should help Bugs and Daffy who get chased by Elmer Fudd.
- He saves Kate from being kidnapped and from falling to her death.
- He stopped Daffy from grabbing the Blue Monkey diamond and grabs it himself.
- He refused to give the Blue Monkey diamond to Mr. Chairman.
- He tries to fight Mr. Chairman when he, Kate, Bugs, and Daffy get captured.
- He willingly hands over the Blue Monkey diamond to Mr. Chairman for the life of his father when he was tied up to be blown by dynamites and even calls Mr. Chairman a "sick man".
- He and Kate free each other from the rope.
- He tries to battle the Robodog that tried to kill him and Kate and saves Kate from it.
- He saves his father from the incoming train and the dynamites.
- He stopped Mr. Chairman's plan to turn the whole earth into monkeys with the Blue Monkey diamond.
- He warns his father that they had to move from the spot they were on to avoid being hit from Bugs and Daffy's ship.
- He congratulates Daffy for destroying the satellite.
- He is the only one other than Kate, Bugs, or Daffy who lacks corrupting traits and is friendly overall.
Trivia[]
- He is the second human character of a Looney Tunes live-action/animated film to be Pure Good, the first being Michael Jordan from Space Jam.
- In the alternate ending, he is the main protagonist of the action. Thanks to his choice (devolve Tweety in a pterodactyl), he defeats Mr. Chairman, who is eaten by ptero-Tweety. Also, reports in their evolutionary form Tweety, Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.
- As for Kate, who had been devolved to a cavewoman in the alternative ending, D.J. does not take advantage of her and brings her back to her homo sapiens form, averting the possibility that Kate could spend the rest of her days in the jungle like a stone age woman.
