Daichi Oozara is the main protagonist of Ultraman X and the human host of the titular character and a member of the defense force team Xio. Despite it being Xio’s mission to destroy or kill monsters, Daichi ultimately wishes for a world where coexistence with them is possible.

- While testing out whether or not Gomora could be materialized, he reasured him that he had faith he could do it.
- Upon noticing that Gomora was trying to warn him of a monster nearby,he immediately began going to the location where he sensed it to try and stop it. As a result, he later able to save Asuma when Demaaga made his first appearance
- At the end of episode 2, he admitted to X that his biggest dream was to see Kaiju and humans coexist.
- In the beginning of episode 3, he gave Asuna a pair of high heels
- Upon encountering Teleston at night, he immediately contacted the rest of Dios to inform them about it
- As Asuna was fixing her high heels, he reasured her that she would be able to fix it
- In response to Asuma’s high heels getting destroyed, him and his crewmates later bought her a new pair for her birthday.
- Similarly, at the end of episode 3, him and his crew mates threw Asuna a surprise party after they defeated Teleston.
- During the beginning of episode 4, he tried to stop Wataru and Hayato from fighting each other
- Upon realizing that X was gonna use up all his energy to protect him (while inside Bemstar, he immediately started begging him not to.
- Upon managing to Alien Gold tE-rU’s Rudian while he was unconscious, he later brought him back to Xio’s hq so that he could be nursed back to health after he got shot by a police officer
- As him and X were turning into stone, he briefly went on out of his way to send tE-rU a message he had got after scanning Gargoron
- At the climax of episode 8, he managed to free X from Alien Sran Quilla’s control
- As an expression of gratitude towards Max for helping him and X defeat Alien Sran Quilla and Zetton, the two of them later thanked him during the ending as he was about to leave

- Upon realizing Houlinga didn’t like getting a shot, he briefly apologized to him as he was being relocated to another area by his crew mates
- In episode 11, he managed to successfully summon Gomora using the cyber cards
- Upon realizing that X was gonna separate from him to so save him from Tsurugi Demaaga, he futilely started begging him not to. Fortunately, By the climax of episode 12, he was later able to find him in cyberspace and merge with him again with the help of Gourman.
- Upon encountering Arisa Sugata and realizing she had come from an alternate universe, he and his crewmates instantly agreed to help her so that she could take down Gina and Mold.
- In episode 16, he helped his crew mates arrest the alien crime syndicate ( a group consisting Dada, Kemur man, and Cicada woman). By doing this, he was ultimately able to help them rescue the girls Dada had captured and had shrunken down and help them get back to their normal size.
- At the end of episode 17, him and Asuna managed to heal Pigmon and reunite him with
- Upon hearing X remorsefully and apologetically claim he made him suffer by choosing him as his host (or in his words “bringing him into battle”), he reassured him that this wasn’t this case and that because of him, he ultimately able to reach further toward his dream of coexistence with monsters.
- Upon revealing himself as the human host of X to Asuna, he briefly began apologizing to her for saying so prior before later jumping in to fight Greeza
- As a form of gratitude , he began thanking the monsters for helping him and X defeat Greeza.

- In episode 2, he defeated Birdon. By doing this, he was ultimately able to help the rest of the Dios rescue some civilians that were trapped inside Birdon’s nest.

- Upon realizing that Nackle had Rui as a hostage in the fan, him and X quickly went to inform Zero as he was about to shoot the former.

- In episode 6, he managed to fight against tE-rU’s Rudian long enough for tE-rU to regain his consciousness and gain control of it while inside of it.

- In the end of episode 7, he helped tE-rU defeat Gargoron. By doing this, he ultimately managed to help him stop her from petrifying humanity into stone.

- Following Alien Sran Quilla and Zetton’s defeat, him and X later bided Max farewell while also thanking him at the same time
- In episode 9, he defeated Alien Zetton, Alien Babarue, Kemur Man, and Dada

- Following this, he later escorted Ginga, Hikaru, Sho/Victory, and Arisa back to their universe after saying goodbye to them.
- In episode 15, he helped Captain Shotaro Kamiki and Gomora defeat Gomess

- By fusing together with Hikaru/Ginga, Sho/Victory, Orb, Geed, Katsumi/Russo, Isami/Blu, Asahi/Griego, Titas, Fuma, and Taiga, he was ultimately able to help them create Ultraman Reiga and defeat Grimdo and Tregear for good.
