Dixie Kong is the tritagonist of the Donkey Kong franchise.
She is the girlfriend of Diddy Kong.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
- In the classic Donkey Kong Country games for the SNES, her goal always had to do with saving someone rather than fulfilling her own needs compared to Donkey Kong getting back his bananas in the first game.
- Rescued a family of innocent banana birds and freed their mother.
- She saved both Donkey and Diddy when they were abducted by King K. Rool and the Kremlings, with only the aid of Diddy the first time, and Kiddy when saving both of them the second time.
- When Donkey Kong Island was invaded and frozen over by Lord Frederik and the Snowmads, she, along with Donkey, Diddy and Cranky, fought their way back to their home and freed the island from the curse set by Lord Fredrik.
- She cares about her entire family and friends.
- She stands out from the other Kongs as she is more noble and lacks corrupting qualities in comparison. Although the argument can be made she fails to Diddy because he helped stop K. Rool from destroying the whole island, Dixie had no appearances in the game, which means she probably didn't know about it.
- While she took a baby, specifically her cousin Kiddy Kong, to help her, she wasn't irresponsible as Kiddy Kong has strong defense skills, despite his age.
- While her idle animations in Donkey Kong Country 3 involve scaring Kiddy Kong with a bubblegum pop, it's only light, friendly teasing and nothing truly malicious.
- When Mario arrives to save DK jungle from Bowser Jr, she talks Donkey Kong into accepting Mario's help.
- Helped saved Baseball island from Bowser and Bowser Jr.
Trivia[]
- Dixie is one of only two characters from the Donkey Kong series who is considered Pure Good along with her boyfriend, Diddy Kong, since every other character in this franchise has too many corrupting factors and/or is too standard.
