Elina is the main protagonist in the Barbie: Fairytopia series, and the minor character in the 2008 direct-to-video animated film, Barbie: Mariposa and Her Butterfly Friends. She is a flower fairy who lives in Fairytopia.

She is played by Barbie Roberts and voiced by Kelly Sheridan.

What Makes Her Pure Good?[]

Despite being paranoid, silly, and fearful, she is very good hearted, honest, selfless, respected, honorable, protective, friendly, smart, bravely, and helpful towards her friends and allies.
In the beginning of the film, she was a wingless fairy who was regularly taunted by several fairies or pixies. Upon Dandelion standing up for her, but Laverna using a formula to leading all the flying creatures of Fairytopia being weakness in which she managing to kidnapping Topaz and the other fairy guardians of Fairytopia, then poisoning her sister, Enchantress, she arrived in Fairytown to find Azura, who try to asking her for help.
When she followed Dandelion and Bibble, Azura gave Elina her magical necklace as a specially gift. She left them and got eventually captured by Fungus and taking into Laverna's lair. Following Azura's kidnapping, she met the butterfly Hue as well as Laverna's former minion Dahlia, which they takes her into the Withering Wood.
Upon her arrival in Laverna's lair, she defeated Laverna and saved the guardians of Fairytopia, making them very safe. She also received her new wings, given by Enchantress.
As Nalu is captured by Fungus, she met the mermaid Nori, who asked her for help. She followed her by bringing her the special seaweed using of breathe underwater and starting their journey to Mermaidia.
While arriving at the Depths of Despair, she traded her wings for a mermaid tail to save Nori from being trapped by the seaweed.
With the help of Nori, she saving Nalu and stopped Laverna from eating the immunity berry.
She went to the fairy school to learn how performing the Flight of Spring together with her apprentices.
She saved Azura, Ruby, and the other guardians from being poisoning.
Upon learning that Laverna disguised herself as Sunburst, she found the real Sunburst, who got trapped into underwater. Finally rescuing her, she and Sunburst are joined with their apprentices to expose Laverna, who revealed her true form.
When Laverna attempted to destroyed the Flight of Spring, Elina defeated her together with Sunburst, Linden, Faban, and the apprentices and saved the Enchantress as well as the blush. After the graduation ceremony, she and Bibble are prepared returning to the Magic Meadow and farewell to Linden and his apprentices.
She told Bibble about the story of Mariposa, a fairy who living in Flutterfield. After finishing the story, she was happy to know that Bibble got a visit from Flutterpixies thus before leaving to play with Dizzle.
