| “ | I just asked myself "WWWD?" What would Wednesday do? | „ |
| ~ Enid Sinclair |
Enid Sinclair is the deuteragonist of Tim Burton's Netflix series Wednesday. She is a werewolf student at Nevermore Academy and the best friend and roommate of Wednesday Addams.
She is portrayed by Emma Myers.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
In General[]
- She rarely, if ever, shows any negative emotions in herself at all. She is cheerful and happy for most of the series (unlike the most of the characters from the Addams Family). The one time she gets angry is because she rightfully argues Wednesday out for being pessimistically dismissive against her optimistic kindness, and recently putting both of their lives in danger when sneaking into the Gates' mansion.
- Although she behaves hostile towards Agnes at first and insulted her every chance she got, it is mainly because she tried to kill her and Bruno but later when realized that Agnes just didn't want to be alone and needed friends, she sympathizes with her and they become close.
- She breaks up with Ajax but it was because she didn't feel the same and she never intended to hurt him either. So in the end fortunately the two are able to repair their relationship but become friends.
Season 1[]
- She is the first student that pleasantly welcomes Wednesday to the school with a warm welcome.
- She is the first one to investigate/suspect Marilyn Thornhill/Laurel Gates' true identity and plans.
- Although Wednesday rejects Enid so many times, including when they first encounter each other, Enid never stops trying to be friends with her no matter how many times Wednesday is rude to her.
- She helps Wednesday in saving Nevermore Academy.
- She turns into a werewolf and risks her own life just to save Wednesday from Tyler Galpin in his Hyde form, and fights him off, even if it means for Enid to get herself brutally harmed when fighting him.
- This act also allows Wednesday to save Nevermore Academy and the outcasts from Joseph Crackstone and Laurel Gates.
Season 2[]
- She is pleased when Wednesday returns to the academy and asks her cordially how her summer had gone.
- She cares for Wednesday when she is being stalked by someone and tries to help her.
- She makes Thing a makeshift house.
- She helps Wednesday look for her novel and when Wednesday walks into the bonfire and it is lit, she desperately tries to get help to save her.
- She doesn’t like that Wednesday is ungrateful to all of Nevermore because they thank her for saving them.
- She comforts Thing when the Addams forget his birthday and she invites him to join her friends.
- Although she is hostile towards Agnes for the majority of the Season, she can't be blamed for this because she and Bruno almost died when Agnes kidnapped them. Furthermore, Agnes continued to stalk Enid by proxy while stalking Wednesday, which Enid was clearly very uncomfortable with.
- She helps Wednesday rescue her uncle Fester from Willow Hill, later alerting the police to the mess there.
- Alongside Wednesday, goes to save Agnes at Willow Hill when she gets kidnapped.
- Tries to defend Wednesday and Agnes from Tyler.
- When Wednesday transforms into a werewolf and is about to kill Tyler, Enid gets her to leave him instead and escapes with her and Agnes.
- She helps Agnes decide to be more like herself instead of imitating Wednesday for attention, making peace with her in the process.
- She helps Wednesday and the rest to expose the crimes of Barry Dort, she with Agnes perform a dance to distract everyone and so Agnes snatch from Dort, his object that prevents him from being hypnotized.
- She sacrifices her humanity in order to save Wednesday from being buried alive by wolfing out into her werewolf form to dig her up while it is almost a full moon, resulting in Enid getting stuck as a werewolf.
