~ Frosty's catchphrase when being brought to life. |
Frosty the Snowman is the titular protagonist of the classic 1969 Rankin/Bass holiday special and the franchise of the same name. He is a snowman who was brought to life thanks to the magic hat of Professor Hinkle.
He was voiced by the late Jackie Vernon in the Rankin/Bass specials, John Goodman in Frosty Returns, and Bill Fagerbakke in The Legend of Frosty the Snowman.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- Throughout the movies, Frosty has always remained a good-natured and selfless character.
- When in the refrigerated boxcar, he shows concern for when Karen catches a cold.
- He tells Hocus Pocus to instruct the critters of the forest to build a campfire so that Karen can remain warm.
- When Professor Hinkle extinguishes the fire, he arrives to Karen's aid, and when the magician attempts to take the hat, he takes Karen with him and belly-slides all the way to a greenhouse to ensure she stays warm, even going inside "for a little" despite the clear risk of him melting.
