Professor Honeycutt, also known as the Fugitoid is a recurring character in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series. He is an alien scientist who had his mind transferred into his robot assistant Sal.
He is voiced by Pete Zarustica.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- He built a teleportal device intended to be a way to promote peace across the galaxy.
- When he found out that Blanque wanted to use the portal as a weapon, he refused to construct it.
- He tried to untangle Sal, his robot assistant, from a bunch of wires.
- He aided in ending the war between the Federation and the Triceratons.
- He helped the Utroms escape from Utrom Shredder by replicating his voice to override Baxter Stockman’s voice command that he placed on him.
- When the Triceratons return to Earth to capture him so they could force him into building the teleportal, he sacrificed himself to stop General Blanque and Zanramon's plans specifically by placing a virus that stopped all of their air fleets. This is in spite of the fact that the Turtles tried preventing him from doing it throughout the episode.
- With assistance from the Turtles, particularly Donatello, he reconfigures the Triceraton gravity generator, which was still holding Beijing high in the sky in the aftermath of the Triceraton invasion, so that it would be carefully lowered down, thus saving millions of lives in the process.
- Helped the heroes stop Utrom Shredder from conquering the cosmos in the season three finale by shutting down the security systems in his mansion and even activating a lockdown.
- When the heroes enter his ship, he sent messages to the Utroms to help them. He obeys Donnie's orders to overload the ship's power core as a last attempt to stop Shredder (though they are saved by the Utroms, thanks to his messages he sent).
- While the admirable standards of the series are high with the Turtles doing many heroic things throughout the series which include, but are not limited to, saving the multiverse from being destroyed by Utrom Shredder in the film, stopping Tengu Shredder from turning the world into a hellish landscape, and stopping Savanti Ramero from wiping out humanity, he still stands for having less screen time than them and for sacrificing himself to stop General Blanque and Zanramon's plans.
Trivia[]
- He, Leonardo (TMNT 2003), Agent Bishop and Michelangelo (TMNT 2012) are the only Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters to be Pure Good so far.
