Susan Murphy (also known as Ginormica) is the main protagonist of the Monsters vs. Aliens franchise, serving as the main protagonist of the film, the Halloween specials, and the TV series of the same name.
She was voiced by Reese Witherspoon.
Biography
On what was meant to be her wedding day, Susan has struck by a meteorite filled with a gooey substance called Quantonium, which caused her to grow to be 50 feet tall. She was captured and sent to a secret monster prison with Dr. Cockroach (a scientist infused with the DNA of a cockroach), B.O.B. (a blue blob created in a experiment involving food flavoring), the Missing Link (a prehistoric 20,000-year-old macho fish-ape hybrid thawed from being frozen solid by scientists), and Insectosaurus (a 350-ft bug monster). They were all planned to be utilized to fight an alien threat led by galactic destroyer, Gallaxhar.
What Makes Her Pure Good?
- She protected and saved Earth from being invaded by Gallaxhar and his army.
- She helped save people’s lives from being in danger.
- She is very friendly towards people, even Monsters and Aliens.
- She sympathized with Gallaxhar for losing his planet before he casually admitted he was the one that destroyed it.
- She stood up to Derek after the latter broke up with her for being big and the fact that he's a narcissistic egotist deep down.
- She forgave her parents.
