Gonta Gokuhara, also titled the Ultimate Entomologist, is a major character in the Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony video game. He is a participant of the Killing School Semester.

He is voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi in the Japanese version of the game, and by Kaiji Tang in the English version of the game.

What Makes Him Pure Good?

• He's one of the only people in the killing game who makes sure to always put the needs of his classmates above those of his own, often risking his life in the process. It's to the point where almost every single action he commits throughout the game can be traced back to him trying to assist, help, or save other people.
• He was willing to risk his life, along with Kaito and Tenko, to save Kaede from being executed. Even when the entire class (himself included) was under the belief that she was indeed responsible for Rantaro's murder.
• He was the first person to become worried for and eventually try to save Himiko when he thinks that she drowned during the magic trick shortly before the tank she was in was to be filled with piranhas.
• He offered to be executed in place of Kirumi when she was revealed to have been the culprit, as he believed her life was more important than his because of her having an entire country that needed her.
• He made a pact with Kokichi to mercy kill the other students to leave him as the sole survivor of the killing game to prevent his classmates from having to suffer a fate worse than death by having to go out into the outside world that had now fallen into a post-apocalyptic state.
• He apologized to Miu while killing her in spite of Kokichi's protests.
• He willingly accepted Shuichi's interpretation of the events that led to Miu's murder even though he had no memory of any of them, even begging the other students to forgive Kokichi for paving way for the events that would lead to both his and Miu's deaths before being executed.
