Gregory, more commonly known as Greg, is the deuteragonist of the cartoon series Over the Garden Wall.
He is a young kid who got lost in a mysterious forest known as "The Unknown", along with his half-brother, Wirt.
He was voiced by Collin Dean.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- Throughout the series, he is an innocent and optimistic boy who has no ill will towards anyone, even feeling guilty for "stealing a rock" from Mrs. Daniel's garden.
- Despite being a comic relief and a dimwit, this never gets in the way of his heroic actions.
- While he embarrassed Wirt in front of his crush Sara, it was unintentional and he only wanted to help him.
- He freed Beatrice from a bush.
- He cheered up the animal students and helped run a benefit concert to save their school.
- He immediately forgave Beatrice after she sold him and Wirt out to Adelaide.
- He saved the Cloud City citizens from the North Wind.
- When he wished for the Queen of the Clouds to send him and Wirt home, and she revealed to him it was impossible because Wirt was claimed by the Beast, he instead wished to take Wirt's place, sacrificing himself to save his brother from the Beast.
- When he was dying, he asked Wirt to return his "stolen" rock to Mrs. Daniel.
