Gurgi is the deuteragonist in Disney's horror adventure thriller fantasy-comedy film The Black Cauldron. He is portrayed as an eldery, small badger-like creature whose speech distortions somewhat resemble those of Donald Duck. The voice is provided by actor/impressionist John Byner.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- He's mostly friendly and kind.
- While he did assault Taran and later Fflewddur, he befriended them later on.
- He tries to warn Taran about the Horned King's danger and mourns him when he goes there.
- He goes with Taran, Fflewddur and Eilonwy to find Hen Wen.
- When Taran, Fflewddur and Eilonwy are captured by the Horned King, he goes to save them and sacrifices himself by throwing himself into the cauldron, thus playing a crucial role in defeating the Horned King.
- He goes with his new friends in their new adventure.
