Hex is a major protagonist in the Skylanders series, being a major protagonist in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure and Skylanders: Giants, a minor protagonist in Skylanders: Swap Force, Skylanders: Trap Team, Skylanders: SuperChargers and Skylanders: Imaginators, one of the two deuteragonists (along with Zook) of Cynder Confronts the Weather Wizard, and one of the two tritagonists (along with Wallop) of the comic series Return of the Dragon King.
She is an elf sorceress who used to use her magic to assist the mabu. After being hunted by Malefor, who wanted to use her power for evil, she eventually confronts him and defeats him in battle. However, this left Hex a shell of her former self, and she was rejected by the mabu for being undead. Master Eon saw her skills and brought her onto the Skylanders.
She is voiced by Courtenay Taylor.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
In General/Background[]
- Passes the admirable standard for sacrificing her natural life to defeat Malefor in addition to assisting in all of the Portal Master’s quests throughout the games
- When she was alive, she would travel across Skylands and use her magic to heal people.
- Fought and eventually defeated Malefor when he tried to steal her power even though it caused her to become become an undead being and lose her nature magic.
- Accepted Eon’s offer for her to join the Skylanders.
- Along with the other Skylanders, she tried to defend the Core of Light from Kaos.
The Mask of Power series[]
- Alongside Cynder and Zook, she saves the people of the cloudless desert from a rainstorm that turned the desert’s sand into quicksand
- Although she did seemingly betray Cynder and Zook and join Kaos, this was merely a fake betrayal done in order to trick Kaos and destroy his machine

- As a Skylander, she assisted the Portal Master in a variety of heroic actions, such as:
- Saving the people of Shattered Island from a tornado
- Rescuing Cali from the Drow
- Recovering the Eternal Sources and other parts of the Core of Light
- Saving the Gillmen from the trolls on Oilspill Island
- Stopping Kaos’ lumberjack trolls from cutting down more trees in the Falling Forest
- Helping the Mabu fight against the trolls
- Rebuilding T-Bone’s body
- Helping Diggs save the Molekin Miners
- Defeating Kaos for the first time.
- Freeing Ermit from Brock in Rumbletown, as well as redeeming Brock by defeating him in battle.
- Getting Dreadbeard to repair the Dread-Yacht
- Attempting to get Blobbers out of Cutthroat Carnival, only for Flynn to leave him behind while hurrying to get out.
- Getting Machine Ghost’s robotic body back, enabling him to defeat Noodles.
- Stopping Chompy Mage from terrorizing the Wilikin Village.
- Defending the Dread-Yacht from Ghost Pirates
- Defeating Drill-X and freeing the workers at his Big Rig.
- Stopping the cyclops attack on Molekin Mountain
- Completing the Oracle’s trials, possibly giving him the ability to see into the future

- Freeing the citizens of Woodburrow and the encaged animals from the Greebles
- Rescuing the Childress of Woodburrow
- Preventing Kaos’ plan to Evilize the Elementals
- Destroying most of the Petrified Darkness that Kaos used to create the Evilizer

- Stopping the Greeble attack on Iron Jaw Gulch
- Freeing Sharpfin and defeating Baron Von Shellshock
- Protecting the Boney Island ice museum
- Helping the people of the Winter Keep win their snowball war against the Cyclops
- Putting out the fires in the Phantasm Forest
- Defeating Kaos, (for the third time) Kaossandra, The Fire Viper, Mesmerelda, and Bubba Greebs.
- Defeating Kaos for the fourth time inside the core of Mount Cloudbreak
- Trapping several villains, most notably the Doom Raiders, and allowing them to redeem themselves, with some even becoming Skylanders later
- Saving Soda Springs
- Stopping the troll invasion of Know-it-All Island and learning about the Doom Raiders from the Stoneheads
- Saving the Phoenix Chicken’s Eggs from Chef Pepper Jack
- Waking all of the Mabu who were put to sleep by Dreamcatcher
- Destroying the Mystic Mill, thus stopping the production of the Evilikin
- Draining Dr. Krankase’s Goo supply
- Rescuing Kaos despite all that he had done in the past
- Freeing the future timeline from Wolfgang’s rule
- Defeating and trapping the Golden Queen
- Defeating Kaos for the fifth time, this time trapping him
- Freeing all of Kaos’ prisoners, most notably the Cloudbreather Dragon and Master Eon
- Defeating Rush Crusher, Stratosfear, and Count Moneybone
- Freeing Pomfrey LeFuzzbottom from the collector’s garden in Gadfly Glades
- Defeating Cap’n Cluck and Cockadoodledoom
- Retrieving the Eye of the Ancients from the titans at Montrous Isles with the intent of using it to destroy the Darkness
- Rescuing Glumshanks and Mags from Pandergast and Blubberbeard respectively
- Restoring light to the Vault of the Ancients and resurrecting the Watch Wraiths
- Attempting to defeat Kaos for the sixth time, which leads to him destroying the Sky Eater and prevents Skylands from being destroyed
- Permanently killing the Darkness
- Freeing Skylands from Kaos’ brainwashing and defeating him for the seventh time
Return of the Dragon King[]
- Alongside Spyro, Cynder, and Wallop, she fought against Malefor when he attacked Skylander Academy
- Additionally, Hex arguably played the greatest role in Malefor’s second defeat as she was the one to suggest crashing the Dread-Yacht into him as well as being the one to finally destroy his crystal
