Hina Amano is the female protagonist of the Makoto Shinkai anime movie Weathering With You.
She was voiced by Nana Mori in Japanese version and Ashley Boettcher in English version.
What makes her Pure Good?[]
- Hina's most admirable act is sacrificing herself to return the rainy weather back to its original state of sunshine, and on a bigger scope as it covers the entire world.
- Also, her main motive of wanting this power is to bring her mother out on her final moments in the sunshine, and upon realizing that she's the fabled weather girl, she decides to her powers for selfless purposes, not just to help her brother, but to help the public by clearing the rain for ceremonies at the cost of her life.
- She also redeems the formerly egocentric and rebellious Hodaka, helping him to appreciate the remaining life he had and showing him optimism and brightness, making a less cynical and better person out of him.

- She is one of three heroes from the works of Makoto Shinkai to be Pure Good, the others being Mitsuha Miyamizu and Taki Tachibana.
