Hinako Shirai is the protagonist of the video game Blue Reflection and one of the three overarching protagonists (alongside Yuzuki Shijou and Lime Shijou) of its sequel Blue Reflection: Second Light. She was once a ballet but was forced to quit, due to injuries. She was choosen by Lime Shijou and Yuzuki Shijou to help them with their mission in exchange of having one wish granted.
What Makes Her Pure Good ?[]
- Alongside Yuzu and Lime, she helped many students who became rampants by stabilizing their fragments.
- She helped her friends with their personals issues such as protecting Chihiro from bullies.
- While she indirectly caused to Sarasa to become rampant, she felt remorseful for it and helped her by stabilizing her fragment.
- Despite considering Lime as a dear friend, she is annoyed by her being more interested of acquiring fragments than the well-being of the students.
- She did her best to understand and to help Mao despite the latter being hostile to Hinako. She eventually makes Mao redeeming despite her still being a jerk.
- While she was angry at Yuzu and Lime for lying to her about getting her wish granted, she eventually forgave them and decided to continue her mission as Reflector.
- When she learned that Yuzu and Lime were dead and that after the Sephirot's defeat, they would dissapear, Hinako initially wanted to repel the last Sephira indefinitly in order to stay with Yuzu and Lime. But at the end, understanding Yuzu and Lime's wish, she decided to complete her mission.
- When the Daath tries to convince her that she would never be alone anymore if humanity is merged into one being, Hinako refused claming that while bonds between humans are not perfect, that gives more reasons to cherish them.
- In the past, she was for a time friend with Shiho Kasuga. This was precious memory for Shiho and the one that allowed her to regain her memories in Oasis.
- After she was summoned in Oasis and she regained her memories, she help Ao and the others to do the same with the Reflectors who came after her.
- Although at first she did not want the others to see her most embarassing memory, she soon decided to go with it knowing it would help Kirara to wake up. Futhermore Shiho and Rena didn't want to do it at first like her.
- Alongside others, she was initially against helping Uta to regain her memories. However it was justified as Uta had an history of being antagonistic and dangerous. Futhermore after Ao explains why they must help Uta, Hinako does not contest it.
- She helped Yuzu to regain her memories.
- She saved Lime from her comatose state.
- She fighted the World System alongside the others.
- She remaded the world as it was before with the help of the others.
- While she had somes corrupting factors in the first game, in Second Light, she got completly rid of them, even though she is more serious than most of the girls in the group.
