Jason Peter Todd, known as Jason Todd, alter-ego Red Hood, is the titular main antagonist of the 2010 animated film Batman: Under the Red Hood and the main protagonist of the fanfiction Son of Red Hood and of it's sequel The Darkest Hour. He will return in the upcoming threequel The Fears Of The Past.
He was a vigilante who disappeared to Flushing, Queens, New York, where he got a job at Barclays as a desk analysist. He is the adoptive father of Gage Creed and Ellie Creed, as well as the arch-enemy of Louis Creed.
What makes him Pure Good?[]
- After the events of Batman: Under The Red Hood, he shed his corrupting factors.
Son of Red Hood[]
- Fought his way through Louis, Ellie, and Rachel to save Gage.
- Adopted Gage and promised to protect him from Louis and Ellie.
- While he did shoot at the getaway car that Louis Creed was driving, he only did it out of self-defense as Louis was shooting at him.
- He cured Ellie, solely because he cares about her and wants to restore her original personality.
- Adopted Ellie, and now, made it his life's mission to protect and raise both her and Gage.
- He even got Gage and Ellie child psychologists to help them with their issues.
The Darkest Hour[]
- Continued his promise to raise both Ellie and Gage, as well as protecting them.
- After Gage was shot, Red Hood fought Rachel Creed to buy Ellie enough time to call 911 to have Gage taken to the hospital.
- Commends Ellie's caring behavior and her bravery in helping Gage after being shot before medical professionals could arrive.
- After Red Hood saw that Ellie was being kidnapped by Hush, he goes off in pursuit, and even leaves Gage with Ms. Krensick.
- Even though he killed Hush, Red Hood only did so to rescue Ellie.
