Knowledge is an overarching protagonist in the 2023 action-strategy game Minecraft Legends. He is one of the Hosts, who are the god-like caretakers of the Overworld.
He is a brilliant inventor who created Golems to help in the construct the Overworld. When the massive Piglin invasion threatened his home, he called upon a brave Hero to take on the task and repel the monsters. During the quest, he provides the Hero with important equipment and Golems to ensure the best chance of victory.
He is voiced by Elroy Powell.

Background[]
- He invented Golems to help in building the Overworld, specifically Cobblestone and Plank Golems, which the Hero would later use as soldiers. This also includes the Firsts, which have performed many hefty deeds:
- The First of Stone helped move mountains.
- The First of Oak was responsible for creating forests by planting seeds.
- The First of Brick shielded the Hosts from harsh weather while the Overworld was being constructed.
- He constructed Lighting Rod Towers to prevent forest fires.
- He invented three artifacts that proved to be essential for the Hero's journey: The Legendary Lute, an instrument that controlled Allays; the Banner of Courage, a flag that commanded armies; and the Flames of Creation, an item that summons soldiers.
Minecraft Legends[]
- He sympathized with Foresight when she was visibly distraught from witnessing the invasion.
- Along with the other Hosts, he helped teach the Hero how to use the three artifacts he created.
- Using telepathy, he frequently communicated with the Hero, offering them with useful tips throughout their journey. He also provided the Hero instructions when faced with an unfamiliar duty/obstacle.
- He created the Grindstone and Mossy Golems specifically to help the Hero in their journey. While presenting them to the Hero, he plays with his new creations and introduced them to his older ones.
- With the Allays, he created a way to move around Stun Towers for the Hero.
- When the Hero comes across the Firsts, he reminisces about their great duties in constructing the overworld. He later helped the Hero reawaken the Firsts using gold.
- Hesitantly, he crafted axes for the Warriors. He was reluctant to do this because he did not want more people putting their lives in danger.
- Overall, he is always very kind and supportive being. He is a complete pacifist, meaning he would never participate in combat, even in situations as dire as the Piglin war. Instead, he puts his inventing skills to good use by gifting the Hero essential tools and Golems for their journey. Thanks to Knowledge, the Hero was able to emerge victorious and drive back the Piglins, saving millions of lives.
