Leonardo Splinterson is one of the titular four main protagonists of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 animated series. He is the eldest brother amongst his other three brothers, such as Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo, he is also considered the oldest adoptive son of Splinter, and is the leader of his teammates.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- He stopped the Purple Dragons from robbing various stores.
- He protected the Turtles' new lair from mousers.
- He saved April from being hurt by Baxter Stockman's mousers; he also defeated Baxter himself along with his mousers, then shut down his factory for good with April.
- He helped Casey Jones take down the Purple Dragons and defeat their leader, Dragon Face.
- He stopped the Foot Clan from attempting to steal the Sword of Tengu.
- He teamed up with the Shredder by leaving him no choice, as well as defeating Baxter Stockman.
- He and the other Turtles track down and rescue Splinter after he was captured and brought to the Utrom Shredder's hideout.
- He defeated Traximus, but he spares his life out of honor.
- He defeated the Shredder by using the Sword of Tengu.
- He held off the Foot Ninjas alongside with Donnie and Splinter, while Raph evacuates a severely wounded Mikey to safety.
- He and others ally with Traximus to save Donnie from Zanramon's wrath and help Traximus overthrown Zanramon to end war the between them and make peace with the Federation and Triceratons.
- He feels guilty after he defeat Utrom Shredder without Utrom Shredder, the Mob, Foot Clan and Purple Dragon start war in city fighting over New York became crime lord including hurting innocent people in the street.
- He stops Raph from attacking Karai so she could explain the situation.
- He teamed up with Karai to stop the three-way gang war consisting of the Mob, Foot Clan, and the Purple Dragons.
- He saved Leatherhead when he was being hunted down by Mr. Marlin as a trophy.
- He prevented the Foot Clan from using the Tribase's power to blow up the whole state of New York City.
- He slew the Necro Monster and stopped its rampage.
- He partnered with Karai once more to prevent the Foot Clan from using the anti-gravity generator to blow up the whole capital of Beijing.
- He and others teamed up with Han to stop Bishop and save Karai.
- He saved Master Splinter from being imprisoned by Agent Bishop.
- He (alongside Master Splinter and his brothers) sacrificed himself by destroying Shredder's ship to prevent him from escaping Earth before the Utroms could even step in.
- He blames himself for almost getting Master Splinter and others killed during the battle with Utrom Shredder.
- He may not recover from the final battle, but he helps Mike train to defeat Kluh, gives him advice on how to do it, and manages to save Ultimate Ninja from Ammag.
- He allows Miyamoto Usagi to practice swordsmanship with him; he explains that he wasn't good enough to stop Shredder from getting Master Splinter and others killed, but luckily Miyamoto Usagi talks to Leo, and he gradually feels sorry for him.
- Thanks to Ancient One, he finally calms down and heals himself from the final battle.
- He learns from Ancient One that Splinter, and others are in danger and asks to be sent back to New York.
- He helped Raptarr from dealing with the exiled Mephos by opposing his goal to start a civil war and take over Earth.
- He spared Karai's life when she gave him a chance to finish her off, but decided not to kill her and gave her one more chance to redeem herself.
- He partnered with Renet Tilly to prevent Savanti Romero from planning evolution, as well as erasing every existence there is.
- During a view flashbacks in the episode "Tales of Leo", he saved Donnie from drowning to his death, saved Raph from being hurt by a huge alligator, then saved Master Splinter from falling to his death, also overcoming his fear of heights as a result.
- He helped April getting a new job as the new owner of one of the antique stores, he is only one who doesn't get trouble or break one Apirl's antique
- He and Raph stopping the Purple Dragons from intervening Don and Mike rescuing and imprisoned Casey Jones in a caged boxing ring.
- He teamed up with Nobody and defeating the Turks.
- He prevented the King of Thieves from releasing a soldiery of demons who would've caused havoc in New York City.
- He teamed up with Miyamoto Usagi an assassin named Kojima who Lord Hebi hired to kill them.
- He and others have to capture Donatello while he's mutated into a monster to prevent Donatello from hurting himself or anyone's else.
- He and others manage find Bishop for make exchange for help to cure Donatello and retrieve Taliman from Karai.
- In a flashback during the episode in "Fathers and Sons", he, his brothers, Splinter and the Ancient One prevented the Bone Demon from reviving Tengu Shredder.
- He saved Karai from being held hostage by the Tengu Shredder and the Foot Mystics.
- He teamed up with Karai and her Foot Clan, the Purple Dragons, the Ninja Tribunal's assistance, the Earth Protection Force and the Justice Force to take down the Tengu Shredder and his troops of demons once and for all by not only saving New York, but also saving the whole world in the process once more.
- He rescued Mikey from being kidnapped by Jammerhead and his group the Street Phantoms with the help of Raph, Donnie and Splinter.
- He helps Raph defeat Triple Threat.
- He redeemed his evil clone, Dark Leo by healing his injuries after their fight.
- He saved Earth once more when it was in danger of being hit by an asteroid that was created by the Dark Matter.
- He turned Splinter back to his normal self by reclaiming his data bits in various parts of Cyberspace.
- He prevented Cyber Shredder's mutants from attempting to destroy New York City.
- He defeated Cyber Shredder, saving not just his hometown New York, but the entire world once more.
- He and his brothers teamed up with their counterparts from other dimensions to help send them back to where they came from and defeat Utrom Shredder to prevent him from destroying Turtle Prime, ending the threat he posed once and for all.
Trivia[]
- So far, this is the only incarnation of Leonardo to be Pure Good.
- He, Michelangelo (TMNT 2012), Fugitoid (TMNT 2003), and Agent Bishop are also the only Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters to be Pure Good so far.
