Link, also known as the Hero of Time, is the main protagonist of the 1998 action-adventure video game The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and its 2000 sequel The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, as well as the overarching protagonist of their 2006 sequel The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
He is the incarnation of Link during the events at the fracture point of Hyrule's timeline.

What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
Ocarina of Time[]
- He kills Gohma when she is sucking the life out of The Deku Tree.
- Gives his word to Princess Zelda that he would get the three spiritual stones.
- Saves the Gorons by defeating the Dodongos in Dodongo's Cavern, allowing the Gorons eat the rocks there again.
- Saving Princess Ruto.
- Frees Epona from the abusive Ingo.
- Frees an entire house of people from a spider curse.
- Gives mask from The Happy Mask Salesman to people to make them happier.
- Although he gets money from it he uses it to buy equipment to help other people
- Unites the seven sages by:
- Freeing his childhood friend Saria from the Forest Temple.
- Saving the Gorons from being fed to Volvagia by freeing them from the Fire Temple and defeating the evil dragon, inspiring Darunia to eventually become a sage.
- Helping Princess Ruto save the other Zoras in Zora's Domain by going to the Water Temple and defeating Morpha, thus breaking the curse that caused the water to freeze, which also allows Ruto to awaken as a sake and restores Lake Hylia to normal.
- Helping Impa liberate the Shadow Temple by defeating Bongo Bongo, a shadow monster that had broken free from the bottom of the well in Kakariko Village, allowing her to awaken as a sage.
- Saving Nabooru from Twinrova in the future, allowing her to become a sage.
- After he unites the seven sages, he works with them to defeat Ganondorf.
- When he is sent back to the past, he informs Zelda of Ganondorf's treachery.
- Although it inadvertently caused the events of Twilight Princess, Ganondorf always makes his comeback anyway, and Link helps his future self to defeat him.
Majora's Mask[]
- He saves Pamela's father from his mummified state.
- Frees The Skull Kid from Majora's control.

- Is implied to have become a knight to serve Hyrule.
- As the Hero's Shade, he teaches his descendant, another Link who is Pure Good, many fighting moves to help in his quest to save Hyrule from Ganondorf and Zant.
