Link is the main protagonist of The Legend of Zelda franchise.
Throughout the course the series Link has been a legendary hero who saves the world of Hyrule from evil, specifically from Ganon. He is also the protector and love interest of Princess Zelda, who he often rescues. He goes on adventures, in which he defeats evil monsters, explores the land and dungeons, meets and helps others, collects mythical items and eventually saves the world, as well as Zelda.
Characteristics[]
Appearance[]
Link is a Hylian, his front hair is shiny golden blond he also wears a anime shag mullet, he has blue eyes, pointy eyebrows and eyelashes. He is also considered to be very handsome. His weight has been stated to be unknown, but he has been stated to be 5'7'' to 5'8'' tall.
His Tunic consists of a green tunic with short sleeves. under his tunic he has silver and gold armor, under his armor he has a collard white shirt. he also has brown pants, boots, gloves and blue earrings.
Personality[]
While every incarnation of Link varies a little in personality, he is generally very nice, respectful, truthful, vigorous and brave. He is using willing to leap head first into dangerous situation if someone is in need, whether he knows them or not, hence why he is always associated with the Triforce of Courage. Pretty much every version of him doesn't talk much, only saying as much as they have to when prompted, he usually has a crush on whatever incarnation of Zelda he's paired with, regardless of how well or little they know each other, and would do anything to save both her and Hyrule itself whenever they're in trouble.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
In General[]
- While mostly different versions of him, they all qualify as Pure Goods after much character development, going from lazy and inattentive individuals to courageous and selfless heroes.
- At the start of story, he is usually portrayed as humble and friendly; the players choose his responses or actions, which can be negative, but they don’t count as corrupting factors because they are decided by the player.
- He frequently fights and defeats Dark Link, thus overcoming any darkness within himself.
The Legend of Zelda/The Adventure of Link[]
- Saving the world from Ganon in the original game.
- Defeating Dark Link, his eviller counterpart.
- Freed Zelda from her deep sleep.
- Defeated Ganons strongest allies involving: Amos Knights, Lanmola, Moldorm, Agahnim (Twice), Helmasaur King, Arrghus, Mothula, Blind, Kholdstare, Vitreous, and Trinexx
- Defeating Ganon in A Link to the Past.
- Defeated the Nightmares.
A Link Between Worlds[]
- Making a wish alongside Zelda to restore Lorule's Triforce, saving their land.
- Stopping Yuga from destroying both worlds.
- Constantly helps everyday people who he encounters with their problems dispite the fact that it slows him down in his main quest.
Trivia[]
- He, Mario, Kirby, Fox McCloud, Pikachu, Luigi and Ness make up the 7 of the 12 fighters from the original Super Smash Bros. who are considered Pure Good.
- His DiC Cartoon and CD-i incarnations do not qualify as they are too sadistic, lethal and jerkish to be considered Pure Good or even Near Pure Good.
- Out of every character, Link is tied with Spider-Man for the highest number of Pure Good Versions with a total of 11 approved PGs, followed by Michael Afton and Optimus Prime with 5 each.
