What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
- She is a genuinely nice person and always does her job right, even not being tough on anyone, including criminals.
- She is also an optimist who wants to see the best in people and can't understand how people could be so cruel.
- While she was on active field duty while seven months pregnant, she never does anything to compromise the safety of her unborn child.
- She investigates the triple murder and eventually figures out that Jerry Lundegaard arranged his wife's kidnapping and got multiple people killed in the process.
- She is outright horrified by the fact that six people died over something as trivial as money.
- She tracks down Carl Showalter and Gaear Grimsrud, only to find that the latter has killed his accomplice and Jerry's wife before she can get to either of them.
- While she didn't arrest Jerry herself, she still gathered the evidence that lead to his arrest.
- She is the only one who manages to stand out and pass the Admirable Standards at the same time in the movie.
