This article pertains to a Pure Good with more than one version who is Pure Good!

After all this years we are here
I'm not the person that made you suffer!
his blood runs through my body
But I also want to see him dead
~ Michael trying to tell the animatronics that he's not William
Five Nights at Freddy's!
Your place is here
~ The animatronics to Michael
I don't understand why he did all this
Me, Elizabeth, the children! It's been over 30 years, dad...
So, Burn with your mistakes!
~ Michael to his father

Michael Afton is the main protagonist of IronMaster's FNaF Raps series

He was voiced by IronMaster

What Makes Him Pure Good?[]

  • He dealt with intense feelings of guilt and remorse over accidentally killing his younger brother by pranking him and putting him in Fredbear's mouth
  • He felt so much remorse over his brother's demise, that he was haunted for an indefinite ammount of time by horrifying nightmares in the shape of animatronics trying to kill him every night and tauntinh him for his misdeeds
  • He managed to make peace with his younger brother's soul, which stopped his recurring nightmares and motivated him to find William and begin his journey to free the souls
  • When his father said that Elizabeth was still alive, he went to Circus Baby's in an attempt to free her from her predicament, and continued onwards in spite of the many dangers the animatronics posed and never chose to abandon his mission despite having the chance to do so on several occasions
  • He went to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza as Mike Schmidt to try to free the souls in suffering there
  • He also went to the FNaF 2 local as Fritz Smith to try to free the souls there, even when Puppet and other aniamtronics attacked him, mistaking him for William.
    • However in this case, it's unknown how much of the song is Michael and how much is Jeremy Fitzgerald
  • He went to Fazbear's Fright as soon as it opened, knowing that William would be there and he could take the chance to stop him
  • In spite of all of his father's crimes and atrocities, he still cares for him and constantly tried to de-escalate the situation and reason with him, though he ignored all his pleas
  • Knowing he could not reason with William, he burned the whole building to the ground in an attempt to kill him for good
  • He teamed up with Henry Emily to create a false Freddy's location so that they could lure every remaining animatronic (Including William and Elizabeth) there and free them all by burning the place to the ground, which would also stop William from comitting further crimes
  • Unlike his canon counterpart, whose role is ambiguous, this Michael was fully aware of what he was doing and still chose to remain and work despite being aware of all the danger he was in
  • He manages to succesfully stop William in the fire
  • He dies peacefully, at last making peace with himself and let go of all his past mistakes knowing he was able to do some good in his life

Trivia[]

  • It is unknown if he is also Glamrock Freddy, but if it were confirmed, it would make him even more good
  • He and Henry are the only characters from the FNaF Raps series to be Pure Good
