~ Michael giving Carlton a part of his soul to heal his wounds. |
Michael Brooks is one of the two overarching protagonists of the Five Nights at Freddy's Novel Trilogy (alongside Henry Emily). He is the ghost of a little boy who was murdered in the 1980s at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza by William Afton, eventually going on to become the paranormal Golden Freddy.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- Unlike his game counterpart Cassidy and Andrew, he is a kind and innocent child and lacks any corrupting factors, especially any vengeful enmity towards their murderer William Afton.
- Years after his murder, he appears to Carlton as Golden Freddy and indirectly reveals to him that he and the Missing Children (the other victims of Afton) had possessed the animatronics at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
- When Carlton, Charlie and their friends were all cornered by the haunted animatronic, Michael appeared once again as Golden Freddy and essentially called off the Missing Children's attack, saving the group from certain death.
- He and the other Missing Children dragged Afton's springlocked body back into the pizzeria so that he couldn't hurt anyone again, at least for the time being.
- When he and the animatronics were all combined into the Amalgamation by Afton, he tried to keep the souls of the other children together, eventually succeeding with Carlton's help.
- He joined the Missing Children in killing Afton once and for all, saving another little boy he was about to kill in the process.
- Just before he moved on to the afterlife, he granted Carlton, who had been fatally stabbed in the heart by Afton, a piece of his soul so that he would live.
Trivia[]
- Michael is the only hero from the Five Nights at Freddy's Novel Trilogy to be Pure Good.
- He is also the only version of Golden Freddy and/or the Vengeful Spirit across the entire FNAF franchise to be Pure Good.
