Michael Jeffrey Jordan is the main protagonist of the 1996 film Space Jam. He is a former basketball player who played for the Chicago Bulls, who had retired to play baseball and golf, only to get lassoed into Looney Tunes Land to help Bugs Bunny and others beat the Monstars, and eventually, Mr. Swackhammer. He is a former member of The Tune Squad.
Michael is played by his real-life self as an adult and played by Brandon Hammond as a kid.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- After his father dies, he is committed to continuing his baseball career by abandoning basketball because he loved him.
- Although Stan Podolack is a bit pathetic, he allows him to be their assistant.
- He loves and praises his friends and family.
- He initially refuses to play basketball with the Looney Tunes due to the fact that he has retired for a few years and believes he can't make it.
- After Bang hits Tweety and injures his skull, he agrees to play basketball with Bugs Bunny and the other Looney Tunes to save himself from alien bondage.
- He makes motivating speeches when they're in bad shape in the game.
- He agrees to sacrifice himself by taking the place of the Looney Tunes in Morron Mountain park, Mr. Swackhammer's slave, risking never being able to see his family or his friends again.
- This allows Bill Murray to join the NBA with the help of him after he and the Looney have won against the Monstars.
- He compliments the Looney Tunes for being good at basketball.
- He convinced the Monstars that they are bigger than Mr. Swackhammer, prompting them to finally turn on him and convinced them to return the talents to his NBA player friends.
- Returns stolen talents to his NBA player friends.
