Microsoft Edge, formerly known as Internet Explorer, is the titular main protagonist of the Internet Explorer webcomic by Merryweather. She is a once-popular Internet Browser, who after her declining popularity, must regain her reputation and defeat the tyrannical Google Chrome.
She is voiced by the creator Ema in the Web Japanese versions.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
- While most Browsers show corrupting qualities, she has always been kind towards her users and everyone around her, even those who bully her.
- While her existence did cause other Browsers to get shamed for being inferior to her, this was unintentional on her part and she was immensely remorseful upon realizing the truth.
- She befriends Bing, despite her initial disdain towards her.
- Upgrading from Internet Explorer to Microsoft Edge, she rescues Bing from being tortured by Google Chrome, then faces off against Google Chrome. During the fight, she protects DuckD Duck Go and multiple others from Chrome's attacks. Finally, she defeats Chrome and ends her tyranny over other Browsers.
- She takes part in trying to stop World Wide Web's omnicide and directly saves Vilvaldi's life.
