Miles "Tails" Prower is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Tom Wachowski) of the Sonic Cinematic Universe.
He is an anthropomorphic yellow fox who can fly with his two tails and quickly becomes Sonic's companion and sidekick. He was shunned on his own planet for his two tails being seen as weird and was left lonely, but was inspired by Sonic after seeing his bravery in fighting Dr. Ivo Robotnik and joins up with Sonic after learning Knuckles is hunting him down. He is the film's adaptation of Miles "Tails" Prower from the video game franchise.
He is voiced by Colleen O'Shaughnessey.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
In General[]
- He is always thoughtful, witty, funny and kind to everyone around him.
- He idolizes Sonic for his heroism and bravery.
- He lacks Sonic's mischievous behavior and Knuckle's aggressive attitude.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2[]
- When learning that Knuckles was hunting Sonic down, he decides to step in and rescues Sonic from him and Robotnik by driving a police car.
- While he did rammed Knuckles with the police car, he was only trying to protect Sonic from him. He even apologized to Knuckles about their earlier encounter later on when the three teamed up to stop Robotnik.
- He is initially reluctant at the idea of finding the Master Emerald because he doesn't feel like he's up to it, but decided to join in after Sonic convinces him.
- Although he had been spying on Sonic with his gadgets before meeting him (to the point where he knew that he preferred bubble baths over showers), Tails is rather clueless, so he didn't know that it was wrong.
- He helps Sonic win a dance-off by dancing to "Uptown Funk".
- He hugs Sonic after he accepts him as his best friend and begins to regard him as the brother he never had.
- While he tries to restrain Knuckles while he and Sonic were exchanging backstories, which caused Knuckles to think that the hedgehog was tricking him, this was not Tails' intention as he was simply trying to protect Sonic.
- He arrives on the Tornado to pick Sonic and Knuckles up from the island.
- While initially wary of Knuckles joining them, Tails quickly decides to trust him when told he's a complicated, but ultimately good person, able to see him as an ally and eventually a friend.
- He, Sonic and Knuckles fight against Robotnik and his forces.
- Was horrified when it seemed Robotnik killed Sonic, Tom and Maddie by stepping on them in his giant robot, and was incredibly relieved when it turned out that wasn't the case as Sonic transformed into Super Sonic in the nick of time.

- He fixes a Badnik and befriends it.
Sonic The Hedgehog 3[]
- He, Knuckles and the Wachowski’s (adoptive parents) celebrate Sonic’s arrival anniversary on Earth.
- He and the team agree to go to Tokyo to stop Shadow, even though it doesn’t end well.
- He and the team decided to team up with Robotnik to track the drones at the abandoned G.U.N. facility.
- He and Stone even had a nice conversation towards one another, showing that he's kind towards everyone, even those who are his enemies.
- He helps the Wachowsik’s and the Team infiltrate the G.U.N. Headquarters in London to stop Gerald and Ivo Robotnik from initiating the Eclipse Cannon and destroy the Earth.
- Tries to console Sonic when he is hellbent on getting revenge on Shadow for nearly murdering Tom by pointing out he understands he's upset about Tom like the rest of them, but tells Sonic that being blinded by anger and revenge is not the right path to go down.
- He then tries to stop Sonic and Knuckles from arguing and/or fighting each other like last time.
- He manages to save Ivo Robotnik from getting sucked into space and get him to turn the Eclipse Cannon away from Earth with help from Knuckles, Sonic, and Shadow before it overrides and explodes.
- He and Knuckles save Sonic from falling to his death after turning the Eclipse Cannon away from Earth.
