Even with superpowers, sometimes we can't save the people we love, no matter how hard we try. A hero's someone who doesn't give up though. And I don't plan to.
~ Miles in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

Miles Gonzalo Morales, also known as Spider-Man, is one of the two titular main protagonists (alongside Peter Parker) of Insomniac‘s Spider-Man video game series.

A 15-year-old (later 17) boy, he is a friend of Peter Parker and the son of NYPD Officer Jefferson Davis. He is portrayed as a teenager living in New York City and become a friend and ally to Peter Parker (the main Spider-Man in the game). Miles Morales’ father, Jefferson Davis, tragically dies during a mission to stop a terrorist attack orchestrated by the villain known as Mister Negative. Jefferson Davis, who is a police officer in the game, sacrifices himself to save civilians during the attack, leaving a significant impact on Miles Morales and the overall storyline. He is the protégé and the second best friend of Peter Parker, the close friend of Mary Jane Watson and Harry Osborn, the best friend of Phin Mason and Ganke Lee, the former arch-nemesis of Martin Li and the second arch-nemesis of Venom.

He then, along with his close friend Peter Parker, protects New York City from many supervillains.

He is voiced and motion-captured by Nadji Jeter.
