Misty Brightdawn is one of two tritagonists (alongside Sparky Sparkeroni) of the fifth generation of My Little Pony franchise, serving as a secondary antagonist-turned-major protagonist of My Little Pony: Make Your Mark. While she used to work Opaline after she took her in, she later redeemed herself after realizing the error of her ways and help the Mane Five and Sparky to escape from Opaline, thus earning her own cutie mark as result.
She was voiced by Bahia Watson.

Chapter 2[]
- Became horrified of seeing Opaline coldly crushed down an articial mouse she just made to spy on the Mane Five at Crystal Brighthouse when it outlived its usefulness.
- Despite Opaline sending her to infiltrate the Crystal Brighthouse and steal the lantern, she immediately befriended Sunny and her friends. After leaving the Brighthouse to continue her mission, she later returns to continuing her sleepover with Sunny and her friends.
- Instead of capturing Sparky and taking him to Opaline, she took some of his dragonfire and spared him from being captured despite wanting her own cutie mark.
Chapter 4[]
- Despite Opaline kept ordering her to capture Sparky to get herself a dragonfire from him, she later considers about her decisions and returned Sparky back to the Crystal Brighthouse instead of bringing him to Opaline, even if it means facing her own punishment by getting locked inside her room.
- Under being invited by Zipp, she went to visit Pipp Petals at the Crystal Brighthouse to cheer her up when she was sick.
- After captured Sparky and brought him to Opaline, she finally realized her own mistake so much that she went to Crystal Brighthouse to help the Mane Five rescue him. Though she got the Mane Five captured by Opaline, this was out of accidental rather than genuine malice because she didn't knew Opaline would've aware this would happen.
- Feeling guilty over working with Opaline and betraying her newfound friends, she regretfully apologized to the Mane Five by helping them escape from Opaline's anti-magic bubble and choosing them rather than having her own cutie mark, which led to her finally got her own.
- Now after her redemption, she helped the Mane Five rescue Sparky from Opaline and later help them escape from her. After that, she went to the Crystal Brighthouse to apologize to the Mane Five for the second time and later joins with them to help them defeat Opaline.
Chapter 5[]
- Following the Cutie Blossom Bash at the Zephyr Heights, she reveals her intention to her fellow Mane Five that she'll be staying at Opaline's castle as a double agent to gather more information about her so they could defeat the evil Alicorn together.
- Despite wanting to find herself a real family she was looking for, she considers of using the enchanted key to help Sparky find his own family, which she did by brought herself and the Mane Five to the Dragon Lands.
- After discovering that Alphabittle Blossomforth was her father, she went to the Crystal Tea Room to reunite with him, saying she's home and calls him her father, much to his surprise.
- Despite her father heavily pressured her into doing her childhood activites together, she later forgives him for that and agrees to start over. She later thanks him for letting her move to Crystal Brighthouse so she could live with her friends.
- Overhear Opaline's plans to invade the Dragon Lands and absorbed all of dragonfire from every dragons she came across, she went to report to her friends about this.
- Helping her friends in turning the Crystal Brighthouse into a haunted house called "Crystal Funhouse".
- She wasn't irritated nor annoyed when Pipp tried to scare her, but instead ignoring her attempts.
Chapter 6[]
- While Sunny, Hitch, Zipp and Sparky went to visit Spike, she stays behind with Izzy and Pipp to help them fix the Mare Stream.
- Discovering that Opaline has been stealing everypony's cutie marks, she used her own personal experience with Opaline to encourage the ponies to not give up and assured that she won't take something that makes them special.
- Went to Crystal Brighthouse with her friends to help them discover how Opaline was able to steal all cutie marks from everypony, with her revealing to her friends that Opaline has Together Tree of her own.
- When Opaline attack the Crystal Brighthouse to steal her and Sunny's cutie marks, she lured Opaline away by stealing her golden necklace that would store all of Mane Six's cutie marks, but only for the evil Alicorn to take it back.
- After following Opaline to Zephyr Heights by traveling through Maretime Bay's Together Tree and the Pegasi royal sisters' cutie marks were stolen, she went to stand up against her by calling her out for her cruel and selfish actions of hers and showing her sympathy of her lacking experience of friendship. When Opaline takes her cutie mark out of pettiness for her justified betrayal, she refused her offer to rejoin with her by choosing her own friendship with her newfound friends.
- Realized there's another way to defeat Opaline, she, Pipp and Zipp gather all of Pegasi from Zephyr Heights to the Together Tree to channeled their unity and power of friendship here in order to help and encouraged Sunny to defeat Opaline once and for all, which succeeds and it gave everypony's cutie marks back to their original owners, ending her reign of terror as result.
- She and her friends apologized to the Auroricorns for unintentionally scaring them when they first arrived at Starlight Ridge.
- Despite never knew why the Auroricorns are acting weird, she and her friends decide to stay at the Starlight Ridge with them to have fun.
- Knowing that something's going on about the Auroricorns, she and her friends return to Starlight Ridge where they're horrified to discover that they were brainwashed by Allura to find her a star.
- She and her friends pushed both Violet Frost and Comet away in order to snaps them out from Allura's brainwashing.
- She and her friends sympathized with Violet Frost and Comet over what Allura has done to the Auroricorns and became disgusted over this as well.
- She, Sunny and Pipp take the Nova Charm from Twitch while Allura is distracted to free the Auroricorns from being oppressed.
- She and her friends encouraged the Auroricorns to stand up against Allura by throwing snowball at each other and also her to take Starlight Ridge back from her.
- When Violet Frost choose her and her friends to lead the Starlight Ridge, they declared Violet as the leader of Starlight Ridge because she has proven to be an incredible leader, with the other Auroricorns support it.
- She and her friends allowed Comet to go to Equestria with them.
My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale[]
Season 1[]
- Instead of returning back to Opaline's castle after she tricked the ponies into using their magic by causing mischief and a power outage, she decided to stay here at Mane Melody and celebrate the Nightmare Night party for a little longer.
- After accidentally kidnapped Cloudpuff instead of Sparky, she later returned him back to Crystal Brighthouse.
- She became gratefully touched of Izzy giving her a wreath with pink flowers and a heart on it.
- She, along with the Mane Five, went to save and protect everypony from getting covered in smoothies by eating all of them when the smoothie machine is going haywire.
- Went to save the Mane Five from being corrupted/possessed by her necklace and later threw it away for good.
- Comforted Zipp when nopony are interested in hearing her suggestions of going to the beach for a cool-off and later help her attract everypony to go there by taking pictures of them doing beach activities and posting all of them on social media.
- She and her friends brought all of the paper lanterns to block the moon so everypony's magic will be turned back to normal.
- She and her friends joins with Sunny and Windy on their camping trip to help them get their Wilderness Survival Badge.
- Setting up a perimeter around her and her friends' campsite so no critters could get pass through.
- To prevent the giant bunnisus from reaching the Maretime Bay, she and her friends lured it away with a giant carrot before turning it back to normal size, earning their Wilderness Survival Badge as result.
- She and her friends went to complete the Lavarynth challenge by the trio of dragons.
- To complete the second trial, she encouraged her friends to conquer their fear by getting rid of the scary shadow dragons away.
- She and her friends cast a shadow of the dragon-shaped carving to pass their third and final trial.
- Despite leaving the Crystal Brighthouse due to being overwhelmed with her friends' activites, she eventually returned and became tearfully guilty of leaving them for this.
- Despite trying to avoid the food fight at Bridlewood, she decided to join in to put a stop to this by taking down every unicorns she came across.
- During Opaline's mass theft on all cutie marks around Equestria, she tried to stand up against her former adopted mother by choosing friendship over her, resulting in her taking away her cutie mark out of petty revenge.
- She and her friends rally everypony to encourage Sunny to defeat Opaline, channeling their remaining magic to Together Tree to punish Opaline for everything she has done through Equestria.
- She and her friends comforted Sunny over her fear of hearing Allura's growl.
- She and her friends help Sunny make her talent show a success.
- She and her friends help Pipp with the movie about their journey to Starlight Ridge by acting during the filming.
Season 2[]
- After discovering Allura's in Equestria, she and her friends decided that they'll stand against Allura if she began to threatens Equestria other than Starlight Ridge or not, thus releasing six beam of rainbows for everyone to stand together.
- She and her friends livestreamed through the entire Equestria to tell everypony about Allura's in Equestria and assured there's nothing to fear as long as they stick together.
- She and Izzy crafting a carting device with plastic bottles and wheels for Pipp to carry her carnival crown for the Maretime Bay carnival.
- She, Sunny, Izzy and Zipp are helping Pipp up when the fruits are stacked on her when everypony are throwing them at her.
- She and her friends are using their cutie mark magic to help Pipp wear a fruit crown and fly right in front of everypony.
- She and her friends are celebrating Sparky's special day, which is his birthday.
- She and her friends went to stop a dragon-styled cake monster from terrorizing Maretime Bay.
- She and her friends help Jazz Hooves asked Rocky Riff out on a date, with Misty advised her to be romantic.
- While relaxing at Bridlewood Spog, she warned Izzy to take cover when the swarm of Breezies are went to have a Swirlpool Starlight.
- Although she became traumatized over her past actions after seeing her visions, she finally lets go of her fear and believed that her future will be bright and full of friendship once she returns back to the Swirlpool Starlight.
- She and her friends assembled the sections of the mysterious giant egg which allowed Sunny to released a majestic bird with rainbow feathers that spreads chocolate eggs around Maretime Bay.
- She and her friends are comforting Izzy when she's losing her creativity sparks inside due to experiencing the "Blockywockys".
- When Hitch became concerned of Izzy after learning that she's going on a quest alone by herself, she assured him that Izzy's fine doing it on her own.
- She and her friends sending their cutie mark magic to help Izzy with the "Blockywockys".
- Though she got herself and her friends trapped inside a spell book where they're forced to complete their quests in order to escape, this was completely out of accident because she wanted to demonstrate her spell that creates an artificial butterfly instead of forcing them to get inside the spell book with her.
- She and her friends are working together to complete their quests in order to escape.
- While she and her friends initially saw Zantorp to be a threat, she later realized that he only acted like this because of how lonely he is just like herself, so she offers to be his friend.
- Before she and her friends were about to leave the spell book, she promised Zantorp that they'll come to visit him.
- Now finally facing her fears of roller coaster, she managed to stand up against her negative inner thoughts and joins with her friends to the roller coaster, banishing it from herself as result.
- When Sparky is getting trampled by the racoonicorn stampede, she and her friends went to Tinytrot to rescue him.
- She and her friends began to taught Posey on how to have fun at sleepover, which she eventually began to enjoy it later on.
- She and her friends are commending Izzy for her creativity that brings the water park next to Boardtrot to life.
- Despite Izzy accidentally making the water park disappear, she and her friends didn't mind about it as they're laughing because they're still having fun.
My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery[]
- Discovering that the magic in Zephyr Heights is getting out of control, she sent a letter to Sunny and Hitch to let them know about what happen.
- When Sparky is going around the Zephyr Heights royal palace, she tried her best to catch him so he wouldn't get away, but to no avail as the baby dragon hiccups which caused him to teleports away.
- Using her Unicorn magic to help find Sparky at the Zephyr Heights royal palace and rallying her friends to follow her for their help as well.
- Apologized to her friends for failing to catch Sparky in the royal palace library.
- Convinced her friends to help four Pegasi royal guards who had been affected by the magic, even released the two of them from being imprisoned at the dungeon.
- After telling the Queen Haven about Sparky making unintentional mishaps through Zephyr Heights, she and her friends went to the Zephyr Heights Theaters to find Sparky and help him with his ailments to save the Gala from being ruined.
- She and Zipp help find three guards and snaps them from the anomalies' influence so they could leave the maze.
- Helps the gardener snaps out of trance after he was hit by Sparky's dragon magic.
- She, Pipp and Zipp are helping find three missing waiters so everypony could get their drinks. She also help them getting snapped from their trance due to Sparky's dragon magic hits them.
- She and her friends went to search for Sparky throughout the Gala to stop him from causing the fog that makes the magic goes haywire.
- After she found the V.I.P., she managed to help her getting snapped from her trance from Sparky's dragon magic.
- When they finally found the baby dragon, she and her friends went to gather the ingredients to make a smoothie for him to cure him from getting sick, which succeeds in turning everything in Zephyr Heights back to normal.
G5 comics[]
- Discovering that Milkway can undo the spell after hearing Panini's story, she and her friends lure Milkway into her trap by using a mud to make a mess at the royal dining hall. But unfortunately, Milkyway however refuses and decide to summon a thunderstorm to cancel the royal dinner and concert out of spite.
- She and her friends helping both Pipp and Zipp with their virtual royal dinner and concert to help them switch their cutie marks back to normal.
- Went to apologize to Milkyway for her and her friends for being so confrontational towards her and attempt to stop her from sabotage Pipp and Zipp's virtual royal dinner and concert.
