Mothra Leo, or simply called Mothra, is the titular main protagonist of the Rebirth of Mothra trilogy.
He is the last remaining member of her species as well as Mothra’s child.
What Makes Him Pure Good[]
- Attempted to keep his mother on top of the surface as she was dying
- Cocooned himself in order to fight against Desghidorah in his Imago form.
- Defeated Desghidorah and prevented him from wiping out all life on Earth
- Defeated Dagahra and prevented him from wiping out humanity with his Barem.
- Went back in the past to try and stop Ghidorah in his Cretaceous form.
- Was willing to stay stuck in the past and sacrifice himself in order to defeat Ghidorah
- Defeated King Ghidorah and prevented him from wiping out all life on Earth.
- Since this is not connected to any of the Godzilla film, the only character he has to compete with his Mother and his priestesses Moll & Lora and other characters are unfair comparisons. However since his mother dies in the first one and he appears in all of them, he easily sets the standard by saving Earth and humanity 3 times.
- Like other incarnations of Mothra, this Mothra has no corrupting qualities is portrayed as entirely selfless and benevolent and determined to protect Earth at all costs like his mother,
Trivia[]
- His Godzilla Island counterpart doesn't qualify as Pure Good as he fails the Admirable Standards to Godzilla, Torema, Beisuke Jinguj, and Misato Jinguj who did more acts of heroism than him due to having less of a major role there in the films.
