Mowgli is the main protagonist of the 2016 live-action adaptation of The Jungle Book and its upcoming sequel. He is a young man-cub who lost his father at an early age to the tiger Shere Khan. Afterwards, he was found by Bagheera and adopted by a wolf pack.
He is played by Neel Sethi.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- Before he left for the man's village, he encouraged Raksha by promising that he would come to visit her.
- He offered some figs to some little animals before they stole them from him.
- Helped Baloo get honey from the top of a cliff and with the help of the other animals.
- He rescued a baby elephant that was trapped in a pit, helping the other elephants who asked for help, and he later helped them put out the fire in the jungle using water from the rivers.
- Refused to work with King Louie to rule the jungle and give him the red flower.
- Rejects Shere Khan's offer to use the red flower to attack him.
- While he did start a fire, it was unintentional, and he was horrified when he realized what he did.
- Defeats Shere Khan and frees the Wolf Pack from his tyranny and threat.
- He decided to stay in the jungle and not live in the mans village, since that is where he belonged before.
- Unlike his original counterpart, he has no corrupting factors.
Trivia[]
- Only this remake version of Mowgli is considered Pure Good, unlike his original counterpart that is not considered Pure Good but Heroic Benchmark due to slightly failing the admirable standards.
