NOTE: Only his game version is Pure Good as his Cartoon counterpart was voted inconsistently Admirable. |

Mugman is the deuteragonist and one of two playable characters of the 2017 Studio MDHR video game, Cuphead, and its DLC sequel, The Delicious Last Course as well as one of the two main protagonists (alongside Cuphead) of the Netflix animated series, The Cuphead Show!.
In-game, Mugman is voiced by Luke De Ayora for one specific line when being revived, proclaiming "Thank you!" like his brother, Cuphead. In The Cuphead Show!, he is voiced by Frank Todaro in English and by Kensho Ono in Japanese.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- Unlike Cuphead, he lacks greed and insight, as he knew that gambling with the Devil was a bad idea.
- Even though he had all rights to be mad at Cuphead, he was not seen getting mad at him for putting their lives at stake.
- Although he does give his, along with the other residents of Inkwell Isle's, soul to The Devil in the bad ending, this can't be considered a corrupting factor, as with the DLC's release and it taking place directly after the good ending, it can be assumed that this ending is non-canon.
- Refused to give The Devil his contracts, and defeated The Devil and his villainous partner in crime, King Dice.
- Burned all the Devil's contracts, freeing all of Inkwell Isle from their debts.
- He and his brother made peace with the debtors they fought throughout the game.
- Depending on the player's choice of characters, he helps his brother/Ms.Chalice defeat Chef Saltbaker to rescue Ms. Chalice/Cuphead from being baked into a Wondertart, when the trio found out about Saltbaker’s true nature. If he is the captured soul, Mugman is grateful for Cuphead and Ms. Chalice for saving his life.
- Mugman defeats and reforms Chef Saltbaker out of his corrupting factors, as perceived in the credits.
Trivia[]
- He is currently the only Cuphead character to be Pure Good.
- He was originally on the Inconsistently Admirable wiki, but it was reevaluated and approved that he qualifies as Pure Good as he lacks the negative traits of Cuphead and while he does listen to the Devil, he then righteously betrays him thus approving him as Pure Good.
- Mugman's Netflix counterpart is considered Inconsistently Admirable as he have too much mischievous and jerkish moments to be Pure Good.
