Musashi Goda is a character of the manga and anime series Mob Psycho 100. He is the captain of the Body Improvement Club and assists Mob in strengthening his body.
He was voiced by Toshihiko Seki in Japanese and by Patrick Seitz in English, who also voiced Nekomaru Nidai.
What makes him Pure Good?[]
- Musashi is committed to training and exercise solely due to the desire to improve himself while maintaining a positive, compassionate demeanor towards everyone.
- Musashi inspired Mob to focus his effort into something productive and become better by strengthening his body, helping him develop physically and mentally.
- When Mob requested to join the Body Improvement Club, Musashi did not mock him for having no muscles and welcomed him into the club with open arms.
- He allowed the Telepathy Club to remain in the Body Improvement Club room out of generosity.
- When Tenga requested Musashi to help beat up the Shadow Leader of Black Vinegar Middle School, Musashi refused to use his strength for violence.
- When Mob was kidnapped by Black Vinegar Middle School, he and the rest of the Body Improvement Club went to rescue their club member.
- After having rescued Mob, Musashi made no attempt to exact vengeance on Black Vinegar Middle School for kidnapping him, planning to leave without a fight and only using physical force when the gang members attacked him. This is also the case when Hanazawa arrived, only fighting when Hanazawa stated they could only leave if he said so.
- Musashi held no anger or resentment towards Hanazawa for beating him, actually respecting him for his powerful muscles.
- Even knowing that Tenga tricked the Body Improvement Club and had Mob kidnapped, Musashi still attempted to get Tenga to improve himself, offering him a membership to the Body Improvement Club while inspiring him to grow and become stronger.
- After Tenga was suspended by the Student Council President, who placed false evidence on him to have him removed from his class, Musashi offered him refuge in the Body Improvement Club room, and when the Student Council President arrived, Musashi defended Tenga and stated he was innocent.
- He helped Mob to train for the big marathon as much as possible.
- When Mob was being hunted down by Shibata, Musashi attempted to stop him, and even after being easily overpowered, Musashi stepped in, protecting Mob from being crushed by Shibata's foot. As he was being crushed, Musashi exclaimed his admiration for Mob, keeping up with them and never giving up no matter what, stating that such inner strength gives him and the rest of the club courage and that he would die before letting Shibata hurt Mob.
- Dimple used Musashi's body to defeat Shibata, which was only possible thanks to Musashi's enormous physical strength.
- Even after having been nearly crushed to death by him, Musashi still had the Body Improvement Club take him to the hospital upon seeing his muscles shrinking, not informing the police of the assault or having any charges pressed against him. This allowed Shibata the chance to reform upon Claw's downfall and become a member of society.
- When Mob lost control and went into his ??? mode, he and the rest of the Body Improvement Club went to try and stop Mob from his rampage, nearly dying in the process.

- Musashi, alongside Mob and Mumen Rider, are the only known anime/manga characters from ONE's webcomic to be Pure Good.
