Nepgear (or Purple Sister as a CPU Candidate) is a s supporting character in the Neptunia video game series, and the main protagonist of Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2.
She is voiced by Yui Horie in the Japanese version and Christine Marie Cabanos in the English version.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
- She's very supportive towards her fellow CPUs/CPU Candidates whenever their fighting or facing issues in general.
- She often helps the other CPUs take down villains who pose threats to the world such as Arfoire, Rei Ryghts, and Kurome Ankokuboshi.
- In the non-canon conquest ending of Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, she's incredibly reluctant to kill her sisters and the other CPUs/CPU Candidates in order to absorb their souls to power up Gehaburn and cries while doing so.
- The main plot of the same game is her going to save the CPUs three years after a battle with ASIC resulted in them being captured and imprisoned. In the main endings, she and the other Candidates succeed in rescuing them.
- During Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, she desperately tries to be of some use towards the other characters whenever she can, feeling deep remorse when she feels that she can't do so.
- In the anime, she and the other Candidates team up to rescue the CPUs after they were captured during a battle with Arfoire.
- During the "Revival" ending path of Megadimension Neptunia VII, she and the Neptunes stop Uzume from sacrificing herself.
- Despite being a slightly more serious compared to other Neptunia character, she still keeps the story lighthearted.
