Noctis Lucis Caelum is the main protagonist of the Final Fantasy XV series. He is the prince who sought to bring peace between two nations.
He was voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki and Miyuki Sato as a child in the Japanese version, and by Ray Chase and Hyrum Hansen as a child in the English version.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- Initially had a lot of corrupting factors but managed to subvert all of them at the end of the story. As such, this includes his rudeness and aggressions, as well as teaching his friends to walk tall and such demonstration is clear in Dawn of The Future.
- Alongside his friends, he helped innocents with side quests.
- Helped evacuating innocents before the fight against Leviathan.
- Saved Prompto from the Niflheim Empire.
- Defeated Ardyn and freed the world from the darkness.
- In Ignis' alternate ending, he healed him after his fight against Ardyn.
- In The Dawn of the Future, he defeated the Great Betrayer Bahamut and saved everyone from the Terraflare.
- From here, he finally realized his flaws, including his unwitting support of Bahamut's agenda, and chose to become a better person. He did not kill Ardyn and chose to ask him for help to end Bahamut's corrupt rule. In return, he held a funeral for him despite the latter's request of being forgotten.
- While he did have a grudge against Ardyn, he ultimately allowed him to rest in peace in the original and DoTF endings. The case also applied to Bahamut, but it was justified due to the latter being a corrupted omnicidal hypocrite and having a massive negative influence on the overall story.
- He and Luna forgive the Lucii (including his father Regis) and the other five Gods for their complicity in Bahamut's horrible schemes, even if presumably the rest of the world would not.

- As of Tekken 7, Noctis is the only Pure Good to appear in a Tekken game.
- Noctis Lucis Caelum along with Ignis Stupeo Scientia is one of the two Final Fantasy XV Pure Goods.
