Oichi no Kata, also known as simply Oichi, is a major character in the Samurai Warriors video game franchise. She is the wife of Nagamasa Azai and later Katsuie Shibata and one of the younger sisters of Nobunaga Oda. She is also a sister-in-law of Nouhime and the mother of Chacha Azai.

She was voiced by Ai Maeda.

What Makes Her Pure Good?[]

Samurai Warriors[]

  • Despite a native and stubborn teenage girl, she is very kind, optimistic, respect, loyal, selfless, caring, smart, and protective towards her family and friends and further in later throughout the games.
  • She begin to help her brother attack the Imagawa when Ieyasu tried to protect Yoshimoto from the Oda at Okehazama.
  • After Yoshimoto's death and the defeat of the Imagawa, she would joins the Oda ranks at Inabayama Castle. She also worried about her sister-in-law's feelings, the elder calms her by merely stating that she is makes a choice.
  • For her lucky, she wants to marrying Nagamasa and constantly being with him due to their loyal to the Oda. They shared to fights for their dreams after their betrayal.
  • At the Battle of Anegawa, she and her husband are forced to fights both Nobunaga and Ieyasu as well as defended Yoshikage Asakura.
  • Upon her depression about her husband died, she survives and brave her sorrow again to joining the Oda though she tried to punishing Hisahide Matsunaga, who was responsible for the murderer of her husband. Refuse to kill Hisahide, she only to threaten him at Nagashino before she got a chance to ended her hatred at Kii Province.
  • When Nagamasa is killed by Nobunaga at Odani Castle, she, Takatora, and the Azai forces are escaped without any dangers.
  • After the Oda's fall into decline year later due to Hideyoshi's conquest of the territories, Oichi takes many times for her requested to marry Katsuie. Before their deaths, they joined to fights Toyotomi at Shizugatake and flees, be much that they choose to killed together at the burning Kitanosho Castle.
  • Despite to be dead in Kitanosho Castle, she and Katsuie are survived when they are manipulated by Gracia in order to supporting her. Along with her husband, Gracia, Kunoichi, Koshosho, Okuni, Kai, Naotora, and the girls, she joining the idol's performing stages, much to their honor.
  • She supported Nobuyuki, Mitsuki, and Sena.

Warriors Orochi[]

  • Throughout the series, she help her husband and the coalition to defeat Orochi and the Demon Army as well as defending the worlds.
  • She join her husband's dreams to created a land of harmony which they eventually to overpowering by the Demon Army, however, following Nagamasa's brainwashed by Kiyomori Taira and broken his spells, she was taking hostage for her husband's loyalty. Upon her and the other prisoners are saved by the coalition at Xuchang, she decided to sees her husband again as they reunited.
  • She later help Sima Yi, Nouhime, and the coalition to saving Wang Yi and Diao Chan.
  • Meanwhile, she following Takatora and Nagamasa to the new world even though that they are surrounded by Da Ji and the Demon Army at Nanzhong and fights for their lives.
  • Upon Zhao Yun, Yukimura, and the warriors appears, they stand up to Da Ji as Perseus, who is actually Loki, was captured by Zhong Hui. She and the rest of the Azai army volunteer to help the coalition searched for the demi-god.
  • She also help Cao Cao and Xun Yu to finds Yoshihiro Shimazu and Guo Jia and defeat Pang De at Komaki-Nagakute-Xiaopei.
  • She helped Zhao Yun, Guan Yinping, Zeus, Athena, Ares, the coalition, and the mystics to stop Odin and Hades for good.

Trivia[]

  • She was the first Pure Good hero who appeared in the Samurai Warriors series, the second being Naotora Ii.
  • She is one of the several characters from Koei's Warriors series to be Pure Good, the others are Kaguya, Bu Lianshi, Athena, Guan Yinping, and Naotora Ii.
  • She is the only version of Oichi to be Pure Good.
