What Makes Him Pure Good?

In General

• Although he did had brief instances of corruptions it was due to him being misguided and mistaken which he subverted after realizing his wrongs or Heating-Up Periods such as not believing the existence of the Legends World or the conflict between the Humans and Selectors over the latter’s rights.

Fight! Super Robotic Lifeform Transformers

• He commits the same heroic deeds as his USA Version barring the Rebirth which events were ignored.
• In various Manga tie-in he would help protect Japan from the Decepticons many schemes.

Headmasters

• He would give up his life to protect Vector Sigma from exploding.

Unite Warriors

• He would protect Cybertron from Ruination, Megatronia and Grand Galvatron before defeating Unicron when he attempted to revive himself.

Battle Stars

• He would battle against Dark Nova and later the revived Super Megatron.

G2

• He would end the war and form Cybertronian Alliance with Megatron until the death of Megatron's friend Kilioton made the Decepticon leader restart the war.
• He would manage to defeat Megatron in a duel briefly ending the war until Galvatron II restarting the war.

E-Hobby

• He would oppose the dimension hopping Galvatron II's actions.

Legends

• While he didn't believe in the existence of the Legends World when Megatron announce his intentions to conquer it, it isn’t corrupting due to it likely the fact he was lied before by the Decepticon leader and once he figured out it was real he would subvert this doubt.
• His actions would redeem Megatron for the better and eventually reform the Cybertronian Alliance ending the war once and for all.

Selects

• After Megatron reminded him of his moto he would his enemy turned friend to give freedom to the Selectors through non-violent means without harming the humans.
• While he did put a failsafe on Grimlock he only did it due to not get anyone harmed from him and shown remorse in doing it once pointed out.
• When Megatron got corrupted by Unicron's energy into Megatron Omega: Perfect he would attempt to save his friend and stop his rampage.
• He would evacuate Earth when it became too dangerous for the humans to live on when Unicron's energy spiraled out of control.

Trivia

• He, alongside Rodimus Prime, Primus, and Minerva are the only Pure Goods from the Japanese series so far.
